Seems local fandom is insistent that because only one contact between player and coach was publicized then only one contact between organization and Team Brady ever was attempted or occurred. And what was Brady to do when he realized that the team didn't want him? If BB wanted Brady to be the QB, he would have started to negotiate with Brady and his agent long before free agency started. The Pats were the only team who could legally talk to him before free agency. So it's not like they didn't have time. We will never know exactly what happened. They were able to get McCourty under contract before free agency. They could have done the same for Brady if they were interested. Or it could be simply that Brady was ready to move on. Maybe the team was ready to move on. It could be a little of both. Something broke down thats for sure. We will never know for sure. All we can do is accept it.
Bradshaw can say what he wants, makes no difference. Won't change a thing.
Another puzzling narrative that I have difficulty believing: Brady wanting SF.
Talk about a difficult call for Don Yee....
“Hello SF, I want you to jettison my client Jimmy G to make room for my other client Tom Brady”
