BOSTON CELTICS vs. Washington Wizards (Eastern semi-finals)

Wizards play BOS at the Garden starting at 1pm today EST




Despite HFA favoring the Cs, John Wall has been on a absolute tear during the playoffs, while IT 3pt shooting has fallen and Crowder has been a no-show shooting wise (shooting well below his reg season shooting average).

I give the Cs an edge, since Washington is a mediocre road team, but if Cs cannot keep up with the Wizards offensively, I can easily see Washington stealing a game or two in the Garden, and winning the series in 6 or 7 games.

By the way, if you havent already, tune into 'Locked On Celtics', the best Celtics podcast around bar none.

I can definitely see them winning it but it will be tough. As of now I think the Wizards will win the series but that could change depending on how they look this afternoon.

Someone else is going to have to consistently hit open jumpers besides Thomas. The Wizards' two headed monster will keep them in most games. I could honestly see this going to 7 games and either team pulling it off. This is going to be a tough, tough series against the C's. If they get past Washington, their season will ultimately come to and end against Cleveland.

The funny thing is...most of the team has stepped up to help with scoring (Horford and Bradley especially). IT has been on a shooting slump from 3PT and at the free throw line, as has Crowder (who's been all but invisible to this point, offensively).

It's a hit or miss league, and the Celtics starters have to make their shots to keep up with Wizards.

Thomas is that star right now. He just has very mediocre help. This team as the one seed is basically akin to the Hawks being the one seed a couple of years ago.

Not a dentist but from childhood experiences I believe there is a time span where the tooth can still be recovered, after a while the root of the tooth is gone and I believe it's a matter of hours but again I'm talking out of my ass.

the celtics will this series, just like they did agaisnt the bulls even after being written off from some people before game 1, and even more so after game 2

and then they WILL have a shot at getting past cleveland, regardless what all the loser-mentality folks around here think

they were down 16-0 and even more afterwards, but now at halftime its almost tied, Wizards cant keep up with Boston, and IT's 3s are back...now just time for Crowder to come back

I can't help but laugh hysterically at this. Thomas has shot 8 FTs, Wall has shot 0. There is little room to complain about officiating, for Celtics fans at least.
