More fnord straw man crap.
There are plenty of things Bendover Bob could have done w/o a lawsuit that would have indicated he was something other than Bendover Bob:
- Done the internal appeal (doomed though it may have been) so people couldn't say "he knew it happened -- he didn't even appeal."
- Not made that ridiculous "we accept it" speech.
- Not constantly playing kissyface with Roger.
- Being way more supportive of Brady from the beginning. I still remember his ridiculous "Well, I hope those players who deserve to play will be playing" remark before the 2015 opener. The loser couldn't even mention Brady by name.
- Going on a real PR offensive.
- Not kowtowing to the "here are the real PSI numbers but you can't tell anyone -- hahahaha" letter from the NFL.
People here can think of plenty of other non-lawsuit stuff that could have happened.
Clearly from the HBO Fake Sports Kremer interview, Robert Kraft is driven
solely by proving he's better than Billy Sullivan.
He does not care about players, coaches, staff, families, or fans from the first 33 years of the franchise.
He desperately keeps trying to sell his 1994-2000 on field product as better than its predecessors in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, even though it wasn't, including anointing Who Said So as the G.O.A.T. in 2001.
He persists in believing that NFL leaders are upstanding, responsible, nonbiased people; apparently blissfully unaware to this day of local and national media-fueled anti-Patriots contempt which has existed since fifteen years before he bought the team.
He believes and promotes the fantasy that the slander and denigration which he allowed and encouraged against his coach and team is the result of "jealousy and envy", despite the fact that the Packers, Steelers, 49ers, Cowboys, and Giants have never been the recipients of such hatred even though they've won too.
