Christian Watson
Alec Pierce
Wandale Robinson
Skyy Moore
Danny Gray
Kyle Phillips
Reggie Robinson Jr
Gray is extremely fast. We'll see what the combine says, but I think Gray and Skyy Moore are likely the fastest WRs in the class. Not speaking for BGC but I think a under radar FA-type receiver could be Danny Gray, SMU. And not so under the radar FA could be Slim Sladey. If he doesn't get drafted Mac Jones should be all over him.
Not sure how I missed Gray. 10.59 100m in HS. 22.01mph during Senior Bowl practice - looks like they let him fly (but he didn't show up in the game stat sheet). Hopefully he's football smart enough to learn "calculus," as he was academically ineligible for D1 (Missouri) after HS.Not speaking for BGC but I think a under radar FA-type receiver could be Danny Gray, SMU. I see a lot of Metchie love on here and in various mocks, but aside from his chemistry with Mac I just don't think he would be a good fit. He drops too many passes and just doesn't seem to have it. I have fallen into a deep crush with Khalil Shakir and think he would be a fantastic option for us in the 4th round. He had a great week of practice at the Senior Bowl. Thoughts??
Mac has a "binkie" in Meyers. Meyers was targeted more than any other receiver on the Pats by 50+ targets. As someone else said, the Pats need to get Jones to focus on Bourne more. The Pats need to shift Bourne to be the guy on the field in 12 Formations and use PA with him, Henry and Smith.I smell what you're cooking regarding Metchie... His physical & athletic profile wan't very impressive even before his injury... But Mac needs a binkie so badly, and the WR class is fairly deep...
I'm guessing. Kind of blanking but that's all I can think of besides redshirt & that wouldn't apply here. Has to be. I'm sure Bill knows about him tbh supposedly he's one of the better players in the country.RS? Return Specialist?
Good article by Cox.......I keep hearing the name Olave as a potential target for us...anyone have any thoughts on him?
These Five Wideout Prospects Should Be On Patriots' Radar In NFL Draft
If the Patriots choose to address their need for top-end receiver talent through the 2022 NFL Draft, they'll have no shortage of options.nesn.com
I don't want to use my first pick in the draft, wherever it ends up being, on a WR... I'm reserving that space for CB, DE or DT.Good article by Cox.......I keep hearing the name Olave as a potential target for us...anyone have any thoughts on him?

I disagree. Stay where you are, and get the better players. Honestly, how many roster spots will be available this year anyway ?If we can trade #21(or 22/23 after first trading-down for 163 or 177) to Jax or Detroit for one of 65/66/70, then a CB like Kaiir Elam, Kyler Gordon or Roger McCreary becomes a possibility at 32/33/34, NT Travis Jones at 53, and at 65/66/70 a WR like Jalen Tolbert, Alec Pierce, WanDale Robinson, Romeo Doubs, or Mac's buddy John Metchie if he's healthy... Another possibility at 65/66/70 is a DE like Boye Mafe, Sam Williams or Josh Paschal then whoever's still available among the above WR (plus Skyy Moore or ND State's Christian Watson) at #85...
We absolutely MUST conduct Multiple trade-downs to acquire more picks, starting at #21 itself. This is the Way.
Treylon Burks aka AK Browncalf. Different dude. 6'3/230 Burks has height, weight & 10+ hands that need 4-5XL gloves. If you've never seen him catch punts, check him out lol. He catches it above his head lol. He's stopped that but this kid is all bully, beat you up, no breaks. Takes a step or two to get going but he gathers up steam real quick. Bounces off defenders, decent stiff arm & can make someone miss.
He really understands how to attack leverage, separate and win deep. Eats up yards. Creates a pretty good stem to set himself up quite nicely. Decent tracker. Has np going up and making a play. He's made several fantastic and tough catches.
He's versatile. You can use him slot, wide, backfield, returns.
Big-time blocker with lots of attitude!
Catches with his hands, fights for yards. + body control. He's not stiff, smooth 6'3/225+
Burks chose Arkansas over several big schools. Isn't looking for attention. Hunts, fishes is spare time. Brings himself, a knife and goes after wild hogs the old fashioned way.
I see a cross between Kenny Britt & Hakeem Nicks but I feel like he's DK-lite too just not as fast.
