Someone asked me to post more of my notes so I'll do w/e I can. I started grading though so trying to finish up and really move onto 2022. Have about 10 QB's done. Once I see the testing results it takes about 10 minutes so I just put it up after.

Bobby Brown
Big man with some bounce in his step. Inconsistent but plays with some juice. Off the snap, good movements for his size. Not the quickest has enough juice off the line tho.

Needs improvement but his leverage is + trait. 6'4? but does nice job staying low. He'll show colors to one side & reads play well. Eyes are on ball and up - flash colors and fills gap. Can anchor, 2 gap but needs to get stronger overall, footwork is inconsistent but flashes. Only 20? Ask someone smarter about his play recognition. Good enough for me rn tho?? Not bad. Run specifically on gap/zone? Good tho.

Stays low and jolts with hands. Not much plan or variety but only 20? Wants to burst and extend or work half man. Has some nice movements can work around his man with a little space / time. Hands improve with some strength and he's on his way. Decent placement. Everything here could improve a lot.

Could be more patient. Needs to stay in the play at all times. Doesn't sell out but wants to do a lot at times and will look lost others?

Has to develop more moves and tools to pull out his bag. Has to get stronger but will look different at 23-24?! Flashes - inconsistent but when it happens he looks like a pro. Get him big buddy mentor and strength coach.

Upside - *could be* solid NT behind and at los. Once strength improves has ability to reset / impact at poa - might be able to work some linemen eventually with quicks, leverage and hands. Can move laterally but footwork isn't there yet full-time. Could play shade. 3T with good muscle.

Atlanta is key. Atl, Cinci & Phila, could be up for grabs if Atl is sticking with Ryan. Especially if the jete are sticking with Sam. Things might be falling in place for a QB if we like one.

Atlanta say they are definitely going to draft a QB, I guess it depends in which round...

Looks like Pats have some interest in Amari Rodgers

I'm a huge fan of Rodgers. He's a super hard worker and has excellent body control and solid routes. Built like a tank, although he's on the shorter side for a WR. He's one of my favorite mid-round targets.

@BaconGrundleCandy -

Do you see Chazz Surratt and Marvin Wilson as fits on the Patriots defense?

Anybody have knowledge of this dude?

Mentioned him once or twice. Big time instincts and feel for the game. TCU had him doing a lot and he looked comfortable in each role (coverage, run fits, blitz) Quick to hit his marks, good patience & closing speed. He's smart, plays with eyes. Knows & understands roles even if he messes up. Again good feel for the game. New at the position. Shows some fight & will put all his weight behind his pads. Hybrid type with potential. Team captain.

Rodgers is one of the more safer bets after the first 5-6 prospects. Tough player love his attitude and style. We definitely need some of it. Reminds me of Jarvis Landry in that regard.

I'm not a big Surratt guy. His tape is inconsistent and was bad too much of the time this year. Flashes are nice but he's 24 and still very much learning the position. So he's an older project.

Wilson I can see but he's another inconsistent prospect. Has a little something off the line and in his hands but after that initial punch or stab his counters or movements arent quick enough to make any noise. Decent run defender but has to add strength to his lower half. Decent power player buy too often gets moved or can't hold the line. Didn't look like he was the 2019 guy this year.

Both are early/mid-round picks imo.

Ah! Must’ve missed it. As always, much appreciated @BaconGrundleCandy

NP might have been another thread or possibly thinking about someone else lol. He's been on my radar for a few years though. Honestly really like him but he was a little light imo watching him and w/e I watch guys for Pat purposes I'm almost conditioned to look for bigger guys.

+ awareness - he's still learning the position (former S) so he'll have lapses but rn who cares. You just want to see growth and it's there. He's really comfortable all over the field - doesn't look scared or throwing his hands up looking at guys. He's out of place bc he might over shoot or just guess wrong but very smart/heady prospect.

+versatility - if he can keep improving on his run fits you might have something. Again listed 6'2 230 might be that but that's still light so he needs some time in the gym. Needs a program. He can carry TE/bigger WR for a little while. Short areas but who knows he might find a niche? Think he has potential as a SAM in a pinch? Inside or Weak I think might be an easier path for him. Even or odd front.

Not a big time athlete but his movements are nice. Loose and smooth. Won't overwhelm you but he's an easy mover. Nice bust and closing speed. Can open up his hips. Turn & chase - pursuit. Don't think a few pounds changes that.

He’ll have a ceiling of Bob Sanders. Potential difference maker when he’s on the field. WHEN he’s on the field.
High praise. I like him a lot myself. Not a bad comp in terms of playing style. Washington might be a little more versatile bc he's smaller though?

I think he has a small shot if you play a lot of 2hi set but definitely see him in that overhang/box/ss role. He's another that opens up well. Easy hips. He doesn't stop moving at times covering 20 yards. Very fluid.

I trust him in space, eyes are usually a step ahead or on point with the QB. Stays tight, on his mans hip. Covers a lot of ground quick. + in run support/tackling even though he's small. He's a really good prospect.
