What he says every year. Everyone is competing for a job. Works for me.

Those press conferences are painful for him. I understand. Those idiots are just trying grab some word or phrase and make a story out it. Sure glad there is no one like that on this site.

Eh sometimes reporters just doing their job. Depends on the question obviously. I wouldn't kill all reporters/journalists some of them do a great job

it took time to build each time they've seen success......this is another one of those times

you're trying real hard, though.......good effort!
Such a load of BS. It never took any time when Brady was QB - our worst record was 9-7 once.

I really hate it when people pretend that it's business as usual and time is the only missing ingredient.

You want to come up with excuses for last 3 years? That's fine but at least make them something that rational people can believe instead of blind homerism.

Some of the questions are pretty dumb. I thought one thread of questioning was leading towards what position are you going to draft....as if a coach would pass that onto the press at this time.
The questions are always dumb because everyone knows he is not going to give an answer because that would become a string of follow ups digging a bigger hole.

Do we really need to have a BB w/o Tom discussion? What value is that?

It is business as usual......it's been like that for 3 years.

2020- Rebuild
2021- Playoffs
2022- Fat Matt (BB's dumb decision to make him OC)

That's a rational assessment of the last 3 years.

Did not make it into BB/TB.

I just made the point it's not business as usual. That is disingenuous at best.

You want to say building a winning team takes time in the NFL? That's fine. Just don't sell me it's like the last 25 years or business as usual because that is BS.

all of his answers are honest, truthful, and to the point

there's not an answer he gave that i don't like
I am comforted by Bill's "Not sure" answer to the question "Will Patricia be working for the Patriots this year?"
If Achord gets a third chance, why not give Patricia a second chance

Keep the band together, let them find their rhythm

"I'm safe. I work for scraps"

"Me too"

"Not me"

Apparently Bill needs a history lesson. Every NFL dynasty has collapsed at some point and it has taken decades for those teams to rebuild. Some dynasties like the Niners and Cowboys have not made it back on top again. Bill should be worried based on history.

FWIW I didn't like the "Last 25 years" comment either. I would have preferred, "We were a playoff team in 2021, we didn't do well last year. We've improved and will continue to make the team better". and leave it at that.
