Oregon
Herbert was near perfect. Him & Dillion Mitchell are def on the same page. Mitchell is so smooth off the line & is doing work along the sidelines the past 2 games.
Herbert is working from a clean pocket but delivers an almost flawless ball. In front of the wr but not so far they have to extend & give away a pass is coming. Great touch & placement on sidelines/fade. Only the green shirt can get it. Mitchell has been ballin too. Almost 300 yards the past 2 games. He's been great
Ugo Amadi made a few plays again. 2 picks that added to his stock in terms of coverage. Testing will be huge for him. Def hybrid/ss type. Plays ST. Leader.
Jevon Holland gone be a beast. Watch out for him in the future.
Lemieux, Warmack were very good again. Opened up everything for Verdall, Dye (who is tiny omg)
Kentucky
Baity looks legit. Size, ball skills, toughness. Showed all of that again this week. Sweet over the shoulder INT. Big 3rd down run stop.
Allen was vg once again. lil more efficient on the edge. He has a lot of good film showing he can contribute in coverage, r/s, rushing the QB.
Mike Edwards SS/Nickel is another guy to watch out for.
Florida/MSST
Polite looks so legit. He moves so well listed at 62/270 but roster says 245. VG get off, speed/power but you can really see him open up his hips to turn the corner. He gets a lot of power through his core to turn his body/momentum to the QB. Very impressive.
Another guy that flashed & has been on my radar is Zuniga. Might not have all the juice Polite has, but had very nice jump & bend on Saturday.
Both these guys jumped off screen. Attacking different gaps, Polite had a vg pbu.
ND/Stanford
Tillery was amazing. He was so brutal towards the OL. The power (club, LA) , handwork, versatility (lined up everywhere)
His stats don't tell the story. He effected seemingly almost every play. Very hard to move in the run game.
A few Pressures that could've easily been INTs, one was called back I believe on a flag. One of the best games of the year.
Lined up 4i.. attacks inside shoulder w a bull rush to clear a path to QB. NEXT play, 3T I believe push/pull bull snatch.
They'll be showing this on draft day. He was so good.
Julian Okwara had a few sweet rushes. Used his hands/crossed face. Good get off.
Kareem Khalid had a terrific sack. Sweet Get off, hands & some bend at 64/265
Asmar Bilal was a standout in run support, had a few pbu.
Book was fantastic. Quick release, placement/touch/accuracy, velocity. Very comfortable on the move/run, good feel for the rush. Made a few + plays outside the pocket/off script. Sneaky quick on the run.
Ran that system w confidence & poise.
OSU/PSU.
I was always impressed with Haskins balance and poise in the pocket. He has natural accuracy & placement but his ability to remain calm & mechanically sound were his biggest strengths Imo. I didn't think his footwork was never really a negative but a concern for sure & he was a little sloppy last week when moved off his spot. Stopped stepping into his passes after some bouts w pressure coming at him. Had trouble resetting to make a play. WRs did him no favors early on. He did make one play to Victor moving around & delivered a decent pass. High but Victor is 6'4. OSU used screens & their RB's deserve a lot of credit. Haskins has natural accuracy though. Just can't ignore the obvious here.
Good game to understand he's not perfect & what he has to work on.
BC
Zach Allen & Ray have been ballin last few weeks. Allen had a game vs Temple. Combined 6 TFL/Sacks (2SK) 6 total tackles. FF. Inside/Outside player. 65/270-280 w + motor/toughness.
