Naaahhh...when Bill is gone, I'll have always appreciated him, even though he's made some pretty big mistakes. He's one of the best football minds ever and has taught me many things about business practices. I can have a healthy admiration and respect for Bill without whitewashing everything he does, and in fact, since I recognize his flaws and mistakes, it makes me appreciate his greatness even more. He's human.
On other other hand, I'm quite certain your irrational, tribal viewpoint isn't even about Bill himself but about some deranged idea of loyalty and team. When he leaves, you'll be crying about how he betrayed you and how he never truly loved the Patriots like you thought he did. He was a well-paid, long-term employee that did a lot of great things before going to his next destination. I predict you'll turn on him quickly because your insecure, emotion-driven opinions reveal that about you.
