Don’t blame anyone for not wanting that job. A terrible, terrible, cheap owner and an undermanned scouting staff. A QB who is just good enough to sniff the postseason but will always blow it. AJ green is aging and the defense is bad. Also it’s Ohio.

The Ohio thing makes it a non starter.

There’s nothing different about the state of Ohio versus say, Indiana or Pennsylvania. Sure, it’s not your ideal place to live, but there are many other states that are quite similar or worse. Tons.

If you’d want a reason not to coach CIN, look no further than having Andy Dalton as their QB. That’s one of the first things that I’d change.

Think of the Bermuda Triangle crossed with the Loch Ness monster all happening during operation high jump. Mixed up with sports in some unimaginably convolluted way. Hard to explain. Ohio is like driving through czhernoble. Hit the gas and roll up your windows
