Let's say Brown gets cut or is suspended or something such that he's not available to the Patriots. DT has been traded. That would leave the receiving corps as:

Gordon
Edelman
Dorsett
Meyers
Gunner

They would have gone from AB, Gordon, DT, Edelman, Dorsett, Meyers to Gordon, Edelman, Dorsett, Meyers, Gunner. Quite a drop-off. But I guess they haven't really even had AB yet, so whatever.

They should be fine, but a lot thinner having traded DT.

It’s why I HATED the Thomas trade. With Gordon & Brown question marks as far as misbehaving and possible consequential releases/suspensions, it was dumb to move on from Thomas. Gordon & Brown have not shown any indication in their careers that they can abstain from these behaviors that cause issues.

Didn’t know Brown’s issues would happen so fast though, I thought he’d last a half a season before he got cut.

Just have to get through 8 games, maybe Harry and Meredith will be ready.

I am merely responding to the guy who said Brown may end up in jail. This has nothing to do with Goodell and his "hand of justice."

At the end of the day, there has to be evidence against Brown. There was no police report, nor was there a rape kit. Unless there is a video of the incident, she really has no case, civil or criminal.

Her “telling 3 people” isn’t evidence. I could tell 10 people a something that never happened and those 10 peoples’ statement wouldn’t be admissible in court

Didn’t he face criminal charges? This case doesn’t even appear to have a criminal investigation attached to it.

He'll play the entire season unless something damning comes to light. Right now, it is at the "he said, she said level". I do not want to downplay the accusations, but, so far, they do not seem substantial. Of course, if AB did something, he needs to pay for it and I hope the Pats cut him. However, at this point, there does not seem to be a lot there.

If the NFL suspends him for that, then Chung should be suspended as well. Hill should have been suspended, etc.

Pats MIGHT cut him to avoid the distraction, but I do not think they will.
