There's some sort of bizarre hope in me that will see some of the utterly pathetic franchise teams build up decent rosters and compete with the better teams in the league.
I really don't like seeing 2-14 or 3-13 teams unless it's the Jets or Colts.
Lions agreed to terms with WR Nate Burleson on a five-year, $25 million contract, including $11 million guaranteed.
I think it's born from the fact that I prefer to crush worthy adversaries rather than roll up and be forced to share the field with basket cases. You have some sort of trait that I seem to lack. I think it's called "empathy". I like to see teams (well, one team) 14-2 or better and everyone else win 4 wins or less.

The Lions are being very Active in Free Agency. They are after Kyle Vanden Bosch and they supposedly are on the radar for signing several other players.
Don't be surprised if they finish with 6 or 7 wins this year.
