I wouldn't put Staubach even at #2, but he was right up there. When you adjust for era he looks suspiciously like a more clutch version of Aaron Rodgers with 2 rings.

He played 4 years in that other league, and won 4 championships there I think.

If those numbers are up to date then Brady just played his 300th game and has an overall record of 232-68, for an overall winning % of .773.

If the Pats win out his winning % will go up to .776

If the Pats drop one game his winning % will stay at .773

7 more regular season wins and Brady passes the combo of Joe Montana and Steve Young for total wins
4 more postseason wins and Brady passes the combo of Joe Montana and Steve Young
1 more Super Bowl win and Brady passes the combo of Joe Montana and Steve Young

he already is well ahead in percentages in every category vs. the combo

Brady > two of the greatest Hall-of-Famer's careers, COMBINED

    Just going by this.

    Otto Graham Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com

It looks like he played in 126 games. Not sure where you saw the 105-17-4 record. Thats an insane W/L

‘46-‘49 were in the AAFC, not the NFL - he won 4 AAFC titles and 3 NFL titles. I do think his AAFC stats are included now with NFL stats.

Yeah, I did. I was never impressed, and his career numbers are certainly not GOAT-worthy. Not even close.

Graham played the first half of his career in the All American Conference not the NFL.

Graham was coached by the man BB considers the greatest coach ever Paul Brown.

Graham played before what I would consider the modern era, Like Sid Luckman and Sammy Baugh.

Unitas was IMO the first ‘Modern QB’ and should be considered as the GOAT.

Yep. I didn't know what his record was so I left it out.

So we can conclude from 46-49 Otto went 47-4-3.

    Crazy.

The Browns joined the NFL in 1950 and won the title their first year in the league.

Please don't tell me you think numbers are the end -all-be -all for evaluating the greatness of a quarterback....

I'm not saying that at all. I am saying that his career numbers are not GOAT-worthy, but more importantly, at no point in his career was Elway ever considered the best QB in the NFL. He was also very inaccurate.

Let me put it another way: this place will **** a brick when Eli gets the Hall call, and his career has been, at worst, even with Elway's.

He was MVP in 1987 so, yes he was considered the best.

Stats do not tell the whole story. Winning and championships count more.

Accuracy is great but making plays and winning mean more.

Eli Manning couldn't hold Elway's jock. C'mon now..

Yep that’s what it was. That’s why the numbers were so different when I looked at different sources. 105-17-4 in the regular season. Unreal

Whether or not AAFC stats are included?
