It's kind of odd how we keep hearing about the dominance of the NFC over the AFC, because with the AFC's 3-1 edge over the NFC this season, the AFC moved ahead of the NFC in all time wins by 100 games. That means that since inter-league play began 44 years ago the AFC has been winning 2.3 more games PER SEASON vs the NFC.
The AFC has also won more SB titles than the NFC (26-23) in spite of a very strong 15 of 16 run by the NFC in the 80's to mid 90's.
So what's this crap I keep hearing about the NFC being stronger?
