C'mon, I admitted I was wrong about BJGE, but get real. Mendenhall had 1,273 yards and 13 TDs this season and 1,108 yards and 7 TDs last year (and he was injured for a portion of the year last year).

Agreed, Mendenhall is being underrated a bit here. I've watched him alot since I get most Steeler games here and he is the real deal.

Mendenhall only has 1,273 yards to BJGE's 1008 because:

1) Mendenhall started 16 games, BJGE started 11.

2) Mendenhall has 6 more attempts per game than BJGE did this season.

Both are tied for TDs- 13.

BJGE converts 27.1% of first downs to Mendenhall's 18.8%

Mendenhall is superior in plays of 20+ yards, and that's it.

BJGE picks his holes perfectly, watched him from the end zone multiple times, always gains positive yards and keeps drives alive. I watch Mendenhall and see him dancing behind the line and KILLING Steelers drives all the time. just killing them with losses. That's why he doesn't gain as many yards as BJGE, doesn't have BJGE's YPC, nor his TDs.

What in the world is your standard anyway? BJGE beats him all around.

Like I said... keep living the fanstasy. If you can't figure out what BJGE is, that's on you. There's a reason that Woodhead was routinely getting more time than he was, and I'll leave it at that.

Are you serious? They averaged 4.0 yards per carry for the game and BJGE averaged 4.8 yard per carry on NINE attempts. How can you write that with any HINT of conviction if the Patriots did not even try to feature a balanced attack on Jan. 16th??

Another thing that pisses me off is when Roethisberger does not have an open man, he throws to Mendenhall out of the backfield.

Brady doesn't do that to BJGE. He routinely ignores BJGE out of the backfield despite the fact that BJGE has the 2nd highest catch % on the team behind Woodhead.
