Even with the obvious overpayment I doubt there is any team in the league that would give up even a 4th for DT.

I don't even care necessarily about keeping off another powerful team. I just wouldn't understand that, if you obviously see that your team is one of the best without him but is struggling offensively (while having a great D), you wouldn't want to give him another chance if you can be sure he'll be allowed to play. I'd deal with the PR stuff for a chance at #7. C'mon.

Mike does have solid intel. But his intel also misses things. Case in point, AB’s signing or his release. So who knows. Chris Fauria doesn’t make up stuff. He was on the Pats for 4 years.

Has to be more to it.
They must of seen signs Gordon was slipping or had slipped back to addiction.
It makes no sense we would help him out so much stand by him during a year long suspension just to cut him for being late or loafing it a bit in practice.
