Lowe did not have a great game probably below average, but he was up against Hendrickson who is a good/great pass rusher and he had not practiced in what 2 weeks or so. He is never going to be top tier but I think he is going to be alright. I am still hoping Wallace or Jacobs gets some run in practice at LT because I think both guys have a higher ceiling than Lowe.
I just wanted to clear something up, I said in another post that Lowe did a phenomenal job on Sunday but here I said he was below average. Phenomenal in the sense that he had only had limited practices coming off an injury. He stepped after 14 plays or so and was able to hold off hendrickson as far as not letting him kill JB. It was below average because he was not able to give JB much time in the pocket.

I just realized I did a Mayo and said things that could be taken as a contradiction.

Onwenu, Andrews and Robinson. Robinson reminds me of Shaq Mason who also started at RG as a rookie.

Robinson’s run-blocking was good, but his pass-blocking MUST improve; otherwise Jacoby won’t be around for TNF vs the Jete.

BTW, this is a great site and one I recommend people add to their bookmarks. A lot of talent working there.
I guess that we magically have improved without additions. None of our waiver pickups has been active yet.
=======
Last week, most had us as the #30 "best" team (rightly ahead of the panthers and the giants). Now, most seem to have us around 25.

Sow last year and Robinson through 1 game definitely look "starting caliber". But if someone wanted to be cautious or outright negative then they can call those guys unproven.

Sow as an NFL LG is naturally unproven, though because he was a LG in college I’m hoping that the transition is relatively seamless… Robinson’s pass-blocking ability is still an unproven work in progress…

things will even out after a few games, and we will get a better idea of where we stand
