That really isn't a paradox, he tends to make the big plays that get media/fans excited, when they really mean nothing when he is doing it recently against whoever is running at CB on the second field.

I don't know how consistent he's being throughout the session, but he is in 'makes at least one good play every day' territory now. CB5? I figure Charles Woods is still ahead of him.

Prunty of course was this year's WTF? draft pick. Last year it was Woodson. Maybe the front office really does know what the hell they are doing.

Tommy DeVito is really looking comfortable in McDaniels Offense. Having a Solid #2 who can Start is a luxury in Todays NFL.

Perhaps 1 or 2 among Brown, Doubs, Boutte, and Hollins needs to regularly get more slot routes and allow us to move on from Chism for sure, and maybe Pop Douglas as well.

Pop hasn't proven much to me that he belongs over Boutte. Dude goes MIA for long stretches. Will that change this year? I guess it might. Boutte has performed in very big moment.

Last year, all of our receivers had some limitation. Boutte, my favorite, doesn't have long speed, Williams has speed but seemed to lack moves, Diggs was very good, maybe lost half a step, Hollins consistent, needed time for Maye to get to him, Pop inconsistent despite some great plays, Chism shifty but lacks speed. Can Brown and Doubs provide that one on one, getting open with consistentcy. I have no idea. I do believe that if the Oline can be competent and provide time, our receivers can do the job.

How Chism performs in the Joint and padded Practices will be key on whether he make it or not. IF he performs better than Pop he's our Sixth WR. IF we can't find a serviceable Slot to pick up the scraps in the middle; we have problems.

I hate to give up on any of these guys.

WR will take care of itself. Hollins played slot quite a bit last year, effective blocking from there as well. Luxury for a change, I'm not worried about who plays where.

He’s starting in the slot with the ones in camp, I don’t think his usage will suffer assuming he’s still here.

- Vildor & Minor seem to be battling well - which is great for CB depth
- Love hearing Muma is finally taking control at LB3 - I had high hopes for him being better than Gibbens
- A bit worrisome that Maye & 1st O have to face the 2nd D to get things rolling, but it could be coaches way of recognizing our 1st D is really that good, and they don't want to stifle or discourage the O getting some chemistry and production going.
- Seems like offense is diverse enough, spreading ball around. But didn't hear 1 mention of Raridon today. Hope he keeps progressing.
- Love seeing Jacas clips - he appears at this stage that he could be the real deal. Very live, agile, and powerful.

The only mention I saw was one of the QBs overthrowing him.

That is a great thought. I don't know any Gen Whatever slang so my vocabulary is limited but if I did, it would be totally awesome.
