Wolf had his system in place before BB left. His system was in place for the MAYO draft. Let's stop giving Wolf credit that he isn't due. He's a horrible talent evaluator. Great organizer and decent with contracts. But he's horrible in trades and a horrible talent evaluator.

Wolf had his system in place before BB left. His system was in place for the MAYO draft. Let's stop giving Wolf credit that he isn't due. He's a horrible talent evaluator. Great organizer and decent with contracts. But he's horrible in trades and a horrible talent evaluator.

I don't give Wolf credit he isn't due, and I don't give him blame he isn't due either. He wasn't responsible for Belichick's drafts, the good or the bad, and he doesn't get the credit for Vrabel's drafts, Vrabel has final say and gets the credit or blame. Wolf does get the blame for the 24' draft, other than the Maye pick it was horrible, and he had final say. Both Vrabel and Cowden have given Wolf a great deal of credit for his work the past 2 drafts, and they know more about that than anyone here, and I have seen nothing to indicate that Wolf's evaluation system was in place under Belichick, and numerous reports it was instituted after Belichick left. The popular thing to do in this forum is to blame Wolf for everything and give him no credit for anything, and imo that is weak assed ********.

Wolf had a press conference at the 24 combine where said that they were implementing a new prospect grading system similar to the Packers, and said they were using Belichick's for the 24 Draft because there wasn't time to change it over before the 24' draft. Either way, whether he used zbelichick's or his own the results were terrible, and he bears the responsibility for that because he had final say.

I have been consistent about this throughout. Whether it was Belichick, Wolf, or Vrabel the person who has final say bears the responsibility. And although Wolf still technically has final say I believe he defers to Vrabel on all personnel matters. Vrabel discusses those decisions with Wokf, Cowden, and Streicher, but ultimately Vrabel makes the call.
