Me I'm a hockey guy so maybe it's easier for me to see when the game/series is over it's over, the animosity is done when the final horn sounds. Shake hands, get a beer together, pray together, whatever. I'm no Evangelical, just a regular guy, it's not about defending any particular faith to me. It's about appreciating the depth and sincerity of someone else's, respect
Clearly, these concepts are beyond Ahmed's ability to comprehend. He never said jack previously when Pats players got together with the players of opposing teams and said a prayer. But NOW it's a BAD THING because Stroud did it since the Pats ended his season.
I'm a hockey guy as well.. Whether we won by a goal, blew the other team out or got blown out. We'd always shake hands afterwards.. Many of us are friends off the rink. There are things so much bigger than the game. That's what Ahmed will never grasp.
