Wait you're the porn star too?

Chargers def let them off the hook by substituting, Brady would have ran that defense into the ground with the players her had. Glad Harbaugh is an idiot.

Yep. In that one series. Even Collinsworth was ranting about how dumb of a move that was.

That’s pretty cool.

Kinda surprised they wasted that innovative defense on the Chargers.
Not wasted.

Tested.

Expect to see it again. And likely again after that. Until somebody solves it.

It was ugly, no doubt... Campbell got pushed around, Wilson played lost in space at various points last night... The bull rushes were fierce, and the twists etc worked well for the lac defense... The other guys get paid as well - It was good game planning by the LAC DC to put Khalil Mack & Oweh on him/Wilson last night... Hall of Fame caliber player and a very good DL vs two rookies fresh off the Injury list ... It was certainly was a learning experience for Campbell/Wilson... They will get better... no need to jump the shark at this point
It wasn't just Wilson. Bradbury was ignorant of them as well. On one play, he drove his man back behind Wilson and failed to pick up the twist, allowing for an easy sack.. Had Bradbury passed the guy off to Wilson, Bradbury would have picked up the twist and it would have bought Maye several seconds.

Herbert needs to go.

If they get a new OC, the chargers will be competing for the division again next year, given a bit of health.

Not a big enough sample size to confidently say he showed that he will patiently figure you out within the game - but I think that's what happened. At first he was as frustrated as Herbert, but he grew, and he and the brain trust cracked what SD was doing. That D made it practically impossible to lose, but be fair, he learned and did enough to remove any doubt (i.e., he didn't coast on his 6-3 advantage.)

But yeah, we have to leave the box unchecked for "Won shootout on big stage." To do that, you have to be in a shootout, and this D was in no mood to play its part in that kind of mutual defensive abdication.
I’ll be quite happy to leave that box unchecked. Much prefer our defense continue to prevent shootouts.

Box I want to see checked, ideally in every game from here on out, is “won blowout on big stage”.

I wonder if it wouldn’t be smarter to plug Brown back in at left guard. No shade on Wilson, he’s just young. Having a vet next to a rookie in Campbell, reminiscent of when BB benched Onwenu and plugged Ted Karras in at left tackle. They just needed a vet presence there at that time. Our left side is still getting abused by stunts, that’s just poor communication between Campbell and Wilson. Even a less athletic vet would see and fix that.
Bradbury was just as responsible for them not picking up the stunts/twists.

It's funny how Players who suck make the best analyst.
He might've sucked but I will say this.

When the Colts did the Suck-For-Luck, they started a QB named Curtis Painter for 13 straight games. He was 0-13.

When the Colts had secured the 1st round pick, they replaced Painter with Dan Orlovsky. Orlovsky lead the 0-13 Colts to 2 wins against teams still in playoff contention (Texans were 10-4, finished 10-6, won a playoff game; Titans were 9-7).

Painter never played in the NFL again.

Orlovasky was not good, but he stuck around the NFL for 11 years

@Pape - You taking a break today and gonna let @Uptown show you up?

Vrabes was playing chess and Harbaw playing checkers.

WTF, Harbaw didnt believe it was a big deal to allow NE to substate fresh players in crunch time?
The patriots had a much better team, a better coach team and a team with many fewer injuries.

We underestimate just how well a QB can play and look like against us. As boneheaded of a QB is, stroud can still make plays happen against our defense if the secondary blow coverage.

We let a 10,000 year old Keenan Allen look like prime Andre Johnson

While Rodgers’ lacks the athletic pocket mobility he once had, he’s still competent enough to be able to read the defense.

Did you actually WATCH the game? Keenan Allen has 3 catches on 8 targets for 25 yards. Not only that, but ALLEN is the one who cost the Chargers late by having to come off for being tired when they were attempting to run their quick offense. Because of Allen, the Pats were allowed to substitute and run nearly 30 seconds off the clock.

Can I casually remind everyone these losers rested week 18, purposefully losing against Denver KNOWING they would draw us in the wildcard? How perfectly sweet was it to absolutely throttle them the way we did defensively

Lmao

I don't think I ever posted that much in one day in my life... Let someone else carry the day

I do wonder how many people are now checking it out now

Herbets OC was not the one throwing the ball to the cheerleaders.

A new OC will make # 5 and they always say that 5 is a charm.

And trying to avoid the Jags... who are also home now for the winter.
