Given our crap front line, why don't we have more designed QB roll outs to buy the QB some more time? Sitting in the pocket just to be creamed doesn't seem to be a good strategy.

Gillette will be a ghost town at this rate.

Boston will pack Fenway to the brim with the Sox losing and out of it, but not the Pats.

Its more of a, the Patriots are that bad instead of the Jets are that good.
I don't know about that. The Pats defense was supposed to be good. Rogers torched them. Granted, they suffered from time of possession discrepancy toward the end, but they were beat early, when they shouldn't have been tired.

no...you don't pick a non sure fire franchise qb at 3, without any semblance of an OL in place.
Now if he was a "generational" talent like Caleb Williams or Daniels, I agree with you

but Maye has many flaws and risks and is not a sure thing.
Alt is a sure thing plug and play dominant LT for 10-15 years
Caleb Williams looked like Jacoby Brissett last week.

David Andrews at the podium last night said many things but one of them was they had a good plan.

This dog **** o-line had been under construction since 2020, and it’s still dog ****. Rock bottom isn’t supposed to be a place to stay, you hit it and should begin to bounce back.

Yes we knew it would be tough due to player development. Last night was extra tough because our coaching was worse than the limited athleticism on the field. Now we have two things, coaching and player development, to be concerned about.
Need some Injured Guys back Sow and Strange especially.

No such thing as a sure thing in the draft.

****ty night. I got into a car accident (my fault) just to come home and watch a train reck on my TV.

Also stupid to play Maye when the game is lost, have him take so many hits but don't call any timeouts that could have gotten him a TD which would have been a great confidence boost.
On the one hand, I agree about the confidence boost. On the other hand, I think it was good that he got a little game experience and got out alive.

dude, come on... we put in Maye and the Jets let up on the defensive pressure. and its now "Maye played real good"...

ugh
They knew the game was over. I'm just surprised they left their starters in.

There will be fans wearing bags over their heads by thanksgiving

The O-Line dominates the talk on the team.
However ... we are #1 in yards allowed .... notably passing yards allowed ... heading into week 3.
Our smurf DB's are doing a hell of a job.

Doubt we get below 10th ... but let's keep talking only about the O-line, Jacoby and AVP.
People aren’t talking enough about Gonzo getting worked two games in a row going up against any quality receivers
