Maroney was an interesting player. He used to break tackles all the time and was kind of crazy until he took that one hit, and then he was never the same.
I remember the hit, the pats were playing detroit i think and he got hit in the ribs. I remember know that he was hurt the moment it happened. It was a hard hit but i never understood why he became a line of scrimmage dancer because of it.
