It seems like that because we had a crybaby lousy QB that was forced on Bill.
Bill was the GM. He drafted him, his responsibility, nobody forced him on Bill nor is there any reason to think Bill would have picked someone better.
He had to choice but to start him which lost us a boatload of games. So it's easy to blame Bill, but even he can't make some so incompetent play decently .
Bill was GM. He drafted these guys.

He lost me for good with the ridiculous MP/JJ hires. The results couldn’t have been more predictable and combined with the dysfunction the year after that it was time to go. He did an awful job.
Letting Bill go will haunt us for a long time
He was 4-13 last season. That’s not exactly something I expect to haunt the team.
unless someone decides the entire coaching staff needs to go and they invest the time on a proper rebuild. Otherwise we are spinning our wheels and this will be the same story for years to come .
Now this I can agree with. I wanted to give the regime a chance but right now they look like they’re not up to the job.

Agree. The game-planning and in-game coaching seems to have regressed along with the players as the season’s gone on. Not feeling confident in the group at all. One thing I will say is that Maye looks vastly improved from his first preseason game. That aspect of the coaching has gone well - whoever is responsible for that should get kudos.
This is very important that he's showing so much promise. It's just hard to put it together with the playcalling and to think that the guy calling plays is also bringing the QB along so well.

Part of me wants to simply credit the QB!

Silver lining is that Maye looks like he can be our QB for a long time given that he gets proper coaching.

Unfortunately, Mayo on the other hand looks like he's in way over his head. Throwing people under the bus is not a good look and he's done that two weeks in a row.

Polk looks like he's as bad a pick as our other 2nd round pick receivers.

Might as well give Tyquan a chance.

Does he even know the full playbook yet?

I’m guessing the menu is limited.
No, its AVPs vision that is limited. There was another 1st run called, I didn't see but I know it.

It absolutely won’t happen. RK isn’t going to admit he was wrong….yet. Only way this happens is if it’s worse than we know behind closed doors.
Eventually Bob will throw someone under the bus. The off-season was really bad throwing money at their own players who are mostly either mediocre or the jury is still out on, but tapping out on a proven player in Ridley (who I'm not a fan of) over $1M. Their priorities are ****ed up.

Think about it. Bob didn't want to pay one of the best RB's in the NFL in Curtis Martin, but pays Rham a top of the market contract as early as they did. Some posters just can't see how idiotic the franchise has become.

After the first two possessions, the only thing that made me smile was when the television production team cut back to the NFLN studio, with Coleen Wolfe in a skimpy black spaghetti-strap outfit.

It was a helluva lot more enjoyable to look at her, rather than the abomination on the field at Wembley.
Colleen Wolfe vs Kay Adams in WWE make it happen!

Agree that they will turn on him. I do not have a problem with him calling out players but it absolutely needs to be followed by we as coaches also need to be better.
He should call out players. PRIVATELY.
All he is doing now is throwing blame because he looks over his head.

Rule #1 of any boss: Praise publicly; criticize privately.

Mayo has no management experience and has no one around him who does either.

We lost the game in the trenches ...
not going anywhere until we win in the trenches.
We need the players ... it's not a coaching thing.

Id bring In Mcdaniels and Vrabel as consultants with the wink wink nod nod, idea that Vrabel will be HC Mcdaniels as OC and Mayo and Covington as parking attendants.

He was more than fine. Are people complaining about Maye today?

There were 3 drops would have given us another 50 yards.
And 2 (technically 3) others that could’ve given the ball away. He was promising today but definitely not perfect. A little lucky even.

And more points also

He’s suppose to be coaching up these players as a former coach to run thru walls, instead he is quiet as a church mouse on the sideline.

This roster has gotten worse this year . There is not even a slight improvement so what has Mayo done? It's very well to blame Bill but the new guy should have made even a little improvement but made none . Why did he not address the O-line ? Not only is a terrible coach, he can't hold Bill's jock strap. And the last 2 plus years, I believe RK is responsible for this mess as it was clear that he forced Bill to draft players he did not want. They could have gotten a proper GM and let Bill coach but because of our egotistical owner that did not happen. Letting Bill go was a huge mistake and no one can convince me otherwise !!!
You’re dreaming if you think Bill would have been ok with his GM duties being stripped

I think he's going to make things worse if he doesn't do anything soon and Maye will suffer.
Excellent point. What is the penalty for acting now? Kraft's ego is damaged. That's it.

There is no downside. Mayo is clearly in over his head and not head coach material. Wolf has been atrocious. AVP is a disaster. The players aren't playing hard. They are the worst team with the worst coaching staff and the worst GM in the league.

What is the penalty for delay? The Maye opportunity is pissed away, lost ticket sales, lost fans, lost merch sales, becoming a perennial laughing stock of the NFL, Kraft damaging his own legacy beyond repair with folks concluding he must have had little to do with the success of the dynasty, etc. For starters. And Kraft loses his last chance at another SB run. He's old. The longer Kraft delays, the harder it will be to find good people to fill critical roles. I think this path ends with a sale of the team.

The problem I keep having with Polk and Wallace is that they were picked at the TOP of the round.

The proper comparison for Polk is N'Keal Harry, not Tyquan who went middle of the 2nd.

In our championship years, Polk would've been our first pick in the draft.

He was a premium pick.

I really don't blame any of these players.

They didn't all turn bad over night.
