Nah, the OC were all offense was held back by the QB play. With adequate qb play they would have been in the playoffs.
Being in the playoffs doesn’t mean you have no flaws.
Since they had, arguably the worst qb play of any of the 32 teams, the are a qb way from something.
And if you look at the actual games they play and define qb as average, 7 close losses would have been wins. It’s not really arguable.

I believe he just has no ability to identify talent at the WR position. Unfortunately he has final say in the draft.

How in the world do you take N'Keal Harry over nearly anyone else in that talent packed WR draft (Deebo Samuel, AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Terry Mclaurin, etc.) and then follow that up with Tyquan Branch over George Pickens?

So all we know is, he can win multiple Super Bowls with a Hall of Fame quarterback and can’t really make the playoffs having one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL as a starter.
Not sure that tells us much about him being a bad head coach without Brady. Bad GM maybe

Nearly anyone else? There were 5 busts before Metcalf got picked.

Chances were higher you'd land a bust than land a stud.

Of the 9 guys taken in the 1st and 2nd round, only 2 signed second contracts with their teams.

It was a botched pick no doubt, but there were a lot of busts taken in the 2nd as well. 5 total before Metcalf.

That is not how it works.

They're 4-13 because the standings say so. Standings don't lie. Teams don't lose 13 games because of 1 player. Teams lose 13 games because they suck.

That’s exactly how it works.
If your qb sucks and you lose 7-6, if you had an average qb you win.

This team lost AT LEAST 7 games that they would have won if the qb didn’t suck.
That doesn’t mean they were perfect except for the QB, it means they were good enough to win, played well enough to win and the QB F-ed it up.

Yes the team sucked, but the overwhelmingly largest reason was the qb evidenced by the fact the team wins at least 7 more if the qb play in those games wasn’t pathetic.

Ironically, haven’t you been saying for years that benching butler cost them a sb?

4-13. Last place in the division... 3 games behind the 3rd place team who oddly enough also had a crap QB situation.

The defense stunk without him and the coaching was terrible in that one too. So they lost to Nick Foles. Funny how that works.

Hindsight is easy when you're trolling a teams fan base that has beat your own team for the past 20+ years.
