Despite the weather, Zappe is at least getting the ball to open receivers. They're not catching the ball all the time, but at least the play is there to be made. Mac wasn't, but the narrative was that he somehow sucked because his receivers were bad. Didn't make sense to me how bad receivers would cause him to have terrible pocket presence and be unable to go through his reads or throw a good ball. With Zappe, we can at least say today is more on his receivers than him.

I think you are being way too generous to Zappe. Other than this last drive, most of his passes have been wildly off target. And they have been short passes.

Not defending Mac, but Zappe has been a big part of the problem today. Mac is broken and was playing awful. But this offense sucks including Zappe.

Yes, but that is a low bar. Mac is completely broken and was playing as bad as a QB could play because of it. Zappe has just been bad today.

This bs bro. We literally saw Mac throw similar passes all year that got dropped. Rheagor legit had almost an identical play to Thornton a few weeks ago. You are just self selecting what plays you want to consider to save face on getting the same outcome
