So the team KC beat 2 years in a row in the playoffs has a better chance to beat them than the team who beat them 3 times in last 2 seasons?
I think it's the amount of injuries Cincy has, plus the fact they'd be on the road, whereas Buffalo/KC would be played in Atlanta. Also, beating any team 4 times in a row must be tough.

NFL and their refs want Buffalo in the AFC finals ….very obvious

COMPLETED OR INTERCEPTED PASS

A player who makes a catch may advance the ball. A forward pass is complete (by the offense) or intercepted (by the defense) in the field of play, at the sideline, or in the end zone if a player, who is inbounds:

a. secures control of the ball in his hands or arms prior to the ball touching the ground; and

b. touches the ground inbounds with both feet or with any part of his body other than his hands; and

c. after (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, performs any act common to the game (e.g., tuck the ball away, extend it forward, take an additional step, turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so.

------

Chase secured the ball in his hands. The ball didn't touch the ground. He performed multiple "common acts to the game" - he took a third step, he turned upfield, and he avoided his opponent. The "maintains control of the ball long enough to do so" is an either/or situation - he must not make a common act AND maintain control, he must do one or the other.
That's the thing. He didn't secure it in his hands

Huge stop if i'm the Bengals i don't bother trying anything crazy here i just go to the half up 10

Buffalo should at least try drawing them offsides.

Picked up the flag? Thats some home cooking

That's the thing. He didn't secure it in his hands

Yes, he did. He caught the ball with his hands. He had possession going out of bounds (ball pinned to belly with one arm). It's not required to have both hands on the ball throughout.

It was moving while he was in the air as he was going out of the end zone. Not much but watch the replays.
Don't see how that disqualifies anything. "Secures in his hands or arms" means he caught it at that moment. Doesn't mean he needs to secure it for some specific continuous length of time.

Seems a bit risky to go this aggressive with 30 seconds left and getting the ball 2nd half

So the team KC beat 2 years in a row in the playoffs has a better chance to beat them than the team who beat them 3 times in last 2 seasons?
They beat KC in the playoffs more because Mahomes had a bad game than anything else. As for them winning this year. KC was in control of that game almost the entire way through. But it took a Kelce fumble and missed FG both in the 4th to piss it away. Those games feel more like KC losing than the Bengals winning, and I don't see that happening again. The Bills are due to beat them and the Bengals are due to lose to them.

Just my take.

They can take a shot or 2 now

I would take a FG
