Post your predictions here for Week 18, New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills

This contest is open to everyone, it's both a weekly and a season-long contest. Stakes are bragging rights.

*********** PLEASE NOTE THE SLIGHT CHANGE FOR THIS SEASON *********

******** Above the reply box is now an area to make your score prediction: ************

Here's an example of what it looks like:

You just slide the red markers and select your score, and then post your reply with your prediction and any additional comments in this thread so we can keep it the same way it always has been, with the exception of having you pick your score. This allows either me or @alamo to update the results much faster, ie: I've been posting the results within a day or two after the game :)

Getting back to the rules, as a one-time allowance for computer problems, forgetfulness, or whatever, one week can be missed and will be assigned that week's average score.

SCORING:

Your score is the COMBINED deviation of your predicted score for the Pats and opponents REGARDLESS OF DIRECTION.
For example, if you predict Patriots 31 Bills 23 your score is how many points off of 31 the Pats are (over or under does not matter) PLUS how many points off of 23 the Bills are (over or under again does not matter). Game winner does not matter. Lowest score wins.

You may change your prediction at any time before kickoff, which the window will close at that time and your selection will stand. Please keep this thread to predictions only (after you make the pick), no back-and-forth discussion of the game. A short comment explaining your pick is OK and encouraged after you've made your selection.

Good Luck!

NE: 26
BUF: 24

That place is going to be emotionally charged on Sunday. Hopefully, the defense ends up making a play for the upset.

ALSO: The NFL picks page for this week now has this game as a predict-the-score as well for the tie-breaker, so make sure you go there and enter it in also as these two are not tied together.

Patriots earn their way into the playoffs by winning 23-21.

Let's see if I got the right sliders and score this time.

Pats 23
Bills 20

I hate to say it but, I do not think we are the better team in this match up. Add in the emotions from the injury and hopefully survival of Hamlin and I think this is a loss.

Bills 24
Pats 21

This prediction is assuming the Bills are playing their starters the entire game. I think they'll be fired up for obvious reasons.

Winning in Buffalo is a lot to ask. I think the Pats defense is good enough to compete with them, this won't be the beatdown that last January's game was. Not nearly as confident about the offense though. With new coaching next year and better players especially up front I'm cautiously optimistic that the arrow is starting to point up and the window will slowly begin to open.

Bills 24
Pats 9

The Bills absolutely unload on the Patriots playing spirited football for Hamlin, sorry guys.

Patriots 13

Bills 41

24-21, Pats win.

(More of a hope than a prediction. Optimism > being right)

Forgot to use the score bar.

Our defense rocks!
Our offense sucks!
Buff 24
Pats 13 (7 points by defense)

Bills 29 - Pats 17

Buff 27-13 NEP

Pats 25
Bills 23

pats 28

bills 20

Time to slay the dragon.

Pats 20
Bills 19
