What's the alternative. Suck it up and put up with bad drafts. If Ernie was a big part of the last few drafts, then it's the correct call. BB himself is ultimately responsible as the GM and he needs to make the changes that he needs to.

Ernie might be better at designing plays than doing drafts. Who knows. Noone really knows what he does.

They managed to blur the board most of the time but maybe some sherlocks here can finally decipher the system..
Some colours and numbers BB spoke about are visible there..
The board seems even smaller than usual so those two 4th rounders thrown for Barmore prob reflect that. After 120 Pats draft turned into futures (McGrone) and HPFA territory.

Huge loss and huge shoes to fill. Didn't realize David Givens was his pick. I think some of our coolest moves (Snow Game goal-line stand, intentional safety in the endzone etc, willingness to go on 4th down, Butler INT) were due to Ernie Adams being so smart, providing analysis to back up bold moves, and also Belichick having so much trust with him going back to their high school days. Sad day for Pats nation. Tre Nixon just became a draft binkie.

We all know Patricia's brain. My gut tells me he is the new Ernie. In addition, he brought his slide rule badass over, Evan Rothstein who also was DC in DET after Fat Matt was wacked.

Ernie's lieutenant is Richard Miller. Hes been here forever.

They seem to be in decent shape.
