Game 1 in the books vs. NJ. I think the young kids did pretty well for the first game (didn't see the 3rd period or shootout). Miller was a beast and overall good start...and hey, we won a shootout!

We are struggling to find scoring without Pasta. Still early with everyone getting in the groove and a lot of young guys playing. Our D is fine but we need to get player out from in front of our goalie. They need to do a better job clearing those guys out. Second, we are neither big nor fast which is a concern. I like Frederic's game but he is not strong at all and is getting pushed around.

just tough couple of game where they haven't played well. some injuries but just one of those things i think. They are still a top 3 team in the entire league.

At least they've upgraded their Forward positions with the addition of Taylor (Taylor or Tyler?) Hall & maybe the under-performing Curtis Lazar in a few days...At the very least these moves should spare us the displeasure of watching less-than-useless, rancid Garbage like Jaqui the Stud-licka, Trent should've been Alex DeBrincat Frederic, and Zach should've been Matthew Barzal Senyshyn...

2 points are 2 points...But they really shouldn't have to go to a feckin shootout vs Barfalo - at home, for what it's worth this season - to get them...

McAvoy's return certainly helped...Also telling is that Jeremy Lauzy started ahead of his fellow 2015 draftee mistake Jake Zboril...But Jake will have another chance tonight because Kevin Miller isn't playing...what a feckin shock...
