It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Wouldn't Watson just report with 6 or 7 weeks left in the season so the year counts towards the contract? Not saying this will happen, but the option was just put in place....
Watson: "I'll sit out the whole year if I have to!"
Caserio: "OK, we'll toll your contract and go with Tyrod as the starter for a year. You can come back next year and be in the same exact position."
I was joking. Gilmore doesn't have that much trade value being on the wrong side of 30, being injured, and in his last year of his deal. I am just making fun of the ridiculous compensation people who call into WEEI and 98.5 think the Pats can get for Gilmore.
so, in order to get the #4 of our choice, we would need trade up to 5.1 Lawrence
2 Wilson
4 Fields
5 bengals
6 Eagles- don’t know they will do
7 Lions- could take a QB.
Control the Playcock as some of our german commentators sometimes say5TE/HB sets - 1st down at own 20 - and just bulldoze the D for 80 yds into their RZ
I said the same thing Gilmore should of been moved last draft. We’d be lucky to get a 3rd for Gillmore right now. I really wish we had traded him and Tuney last offseason.

Let's say we were going for Watson... what is the price? And who is the competition? Jets and Dolphins? And they both have GREAT picks to trade.
Seems very unlikely we can even get DeShaun
and keep the defense hungry off the field loving it !bulldoze ≠ fast
slowly does it, savouring every pancake along the road
We could definitely make the money work, but it would take a truckload which I would do. Multiple 1st round picks the next 3 years along with multiple 2nd rders is my guess. You would need more considering the Pats would be instant SB contenders so therefore the picks would be later in the draft.Let's say we were going for Watson... what is the price?
