2019 post-season games (UPDATE: Senior Bowl week)

Not bad, but I think he's going to have limitations at the next level. His balance and length leave a lot to be desired, and only one of those can really be corrected.

I think Ledbetter isn't getting enough hype. Very clean DL.

There any others that come across as Patriot players?

Penny's rapidly gaining attention at the Senior Bowl.

Deebo is de-bomb!

Perfect replacement for Amendola.

Having 6 picks in the top 100, will be huge this year. The amount of talent that’s in this years draft is crazy. I’m torn between so many prospects.

Dre’mont Jones interests me as a potential patriot guy.

Riley Ridley is my patriot type WR.

I’ve also tried to look at outside WRs who can take the top off. I am looking for size as well as speed.

Probably best to focus on Senior Bowl in here.

I don't think we have that many picks in the top 100. We didn't get the compensatory 3rds for Solder or Butler. I'm not happy about that (record setting OT contract = 4th?) but so it goes. That gives us a 1st, 2 2nds, 2 3rds, 3 4ths (I think). Certainly not bad, but there are a ton of players I like in that 75 - 125 range that we'll probably not have a shot to draft.

Jones and Ridley look pretty good, but they're Juniors -- I'll dig into the tape more deeply after Senior Bowl week. So many players to review who are already practicing!

Wrong thread sorry! Was meant to be in the other one! Surprised ...

I thought we got 3rds for solder and Butler?

@reamer whats your thoughts on David Sills? Seems like a Hogan replacement to me. Not sure if you seen much of him in the senior bowl yet?

Sills has a number of solid qualities, and he's worked really hard to get to where he is, but I'm not sure I see the physicality from him that I like in a player. His size and TD production are nice, but I have reservations about his short to intermediate routes. He's mostly a downfield / red zone threat at this stage. Good prospect, but probably not my favorite.

Oruwariye could be very good if he learns how to tackle.

They're not official yet, but it's all but certain the Patriots will get them: #98 for Solder and I believe #102 for Butler. Plus later picks for 'Dola and Fleming.

Last I heard, only the Cousins, Johnson, and Norwell signings generated 3rds. I'd love to be wrong, though, since I really thought that the Solder contract should send us a 3rd.

Interesting to see

Hart is much more economical in his routes. I think Isabella can do the same thing, but he's probably nervous and trying too hard to show that he has extra skills. Hart won't go as high in the draft, though, so he could represent better value.

That said, Isabella seems to have calmed down a bit. Both get open here:
