I'm a big fan of Ferguson, but this week will show some growing pains for sure!
Sweat, on the other hand, is showing why he averages almost a sack a game through his career.
Dillard has a buzz going, so it's good to see that it's not all a learning curve for Ferguson.
Practices are on NFL Network for anyone interested. If you don't subscribe, there are ways to find it on the web, although I won't post it here since that's against Ian's rules.
Rock Ya got rocked, yo.
Yeah that was pretty dam brutal... Did anyone seem capable of covering?
They'll get more opportunities. Practices are going on right now if you want to watch. PM if you need a link.
That’s someone who will be on our list... is he more of a DE than DT?
Sweat is 100% a DE. Well worth a watch. Good player on a great, swarming defense.
Thought so. Would he be able to go inside like Trey does?
I'm not sure he's stout enough, but he's got the frame to add another 20 pounds over his career, I'd wager. I usually see him on the edge on film.
I don't care about his size. This kid is so talented.
Khalen Saunders (320lb DT that does backflips) is unstoppable at practice so far!
Nelson has had some great reps in the pass rush drills. Really like what I've seen.
Omenihu got run around the pocket by Dillard (I believe). Needs to work on counters. Physical tools abound, though. Still like him a lot, even though he's been stalemated a few times.
Omenihu and Wren with a couple of nice flashes.
Isaiah Johnson is a freak 6'2/207
Allen is a powerful dude.
On the first day of practice, Penny Hart looked quicker and smoother than Andy Isabella when I saw the 1-on-1 drills during the North practice on NFL Network, imo.
Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks were saying the same thing during the telecast because Isabella had wasted movements running his routes using skips and head shakes.
It's the first day of practice and I like Isabella, who will be drafted before Penny.
But I'm glad to see Penny performing well because he's underrated and been hindered by awful QBs and off. coordinators while at GSU.
The two receivers I liked the best in the drills were OSU Terry McLaurin and UC-Davis Keelan Doss.
Like Doss a lot. He'll definitely get his name out there after people get a look.
Separate names with a comma.
