Your posting is even more ridiculous than what Triumph is putting out tonight. Be better than that.
You need to do better than '15/40 is a representative effort' because 'weather game'. That's ridiculous. This wasn't Foxboro High v. Mansfield High.

I'm not a Tyrod Taylor hater - but he was godawful today, and I don't think Baker Mayfield could have done any worse. Why you're resistant to that is beyond me.

The bears defense will be very good. It’s a matter of the bears offense doing their thing.

It's pretty simple:

  1. I'm resistant to the notion that weather doesn't impact QB play at the NFL level, because that's an asinine take.
  2. I'm resistant to the bagging on Taylor when the guy across the field was struggling just as much.

I'm not defending Taylor as some great NFL QB. He's not a great NFL QB. But you trotted out the silliness of things like

Just had to get the completion % up over 37.5.

when decent end game coaching and an unblocked FG would have likely given the Browns the win. And you're the one dismissing weather when we know bad weather impacts QB play and the opposing QB was having plenty of problems of his own.

And, on the other side, a future first ballot HOFer was tossing out picks like he was at a 1970's black power convention.

.

i just have to say, this deserved a re-quote. Might be my favorite analogy/simile I've read in quite some time. Well done!

Guy has made plenty of money in his career. The guy has been very loyal to that crappy club.

Just offering a report I heard where someone opined on the reason Fitzgerald came back this season.

Can’t wait to get 39 year old Fitzgerald before he gets cut and retires.

I'm not 'dismissing weather'.

It wasn't a ****ing hurricane. It was raining. It rained the whole game. If he were like, 22/40, I wouldn't be dismissing it so much, because, yes, weather can be a factor. Weather doesn't make you go 15/40, when you have short fields the entire 2nd half.

Hue Jackson a factor? Yes.
Blocked FG a factor? Yes.

Pittsburgh gave you 6 turnovers. I don't care if it's raining. 15/40 isn't acceptable. I think Mayfield could have managed 15/40. Rain or no rain. That's all I'm saying.

"It was raining" doesn't excuse "15/40" when you have two legitimate WRs on your team. Not in the NFL.

Wish they had gotten the td there. Hope the bears can continue to move the ball on this crappy defense.

To quote Collinsworth, Wow!

Impressive drive
I wouldn't mind if someone superglued Al Michaels mouth shut the rest of the night....

Rodgers sucks......................compared to Brady

Does Aaron "we beat ourselves" Rodgers look agitated already?

Rodgers hurt

lol how's that contract working for you now dummy packers management. Sorry to see Rodgers down though. Just mocking packers management, not Rodgers injury.

That injury didn’t look that bad...? Hoping for the best.

This game has the vibe of big underdog gets huge lead and then has a meltdown.
