He can't be less ready than Tyrod Taylor was today, I'll say that much.
That's the conclusion to any Cleveland QB argument, isn't it? Were not losing anything but gaining at least slightly in several areas.

I just don't get keeping him on the bench and also the same with Allen in Buffalo. I can see if you have Tom Brady in front of you but Taylor and Peterman? Seriously?

I can get Allen in Buffalo. That team is terrible. Browns have a ton of talent in a division that could be winnable. At least very competitive.

They gave away a W today

Weather game where both QBs struggled, but sure, let's hang Taylor.

FFS, people

He was bad, Deus, against an average-at-best defense, and was gifted 6 turnovers. 15/40 197 1 and 1 isn't good, in any weather. Not when you have two legitimate WRs.

I've always leaned toward 'Taylor is pretty solid' as a QB, but he really wasn't last year - and Mayfield had a much better camp. I mean, he didn't need to set the world on fire today to win the game. Just had to get the completion % up over 37.5.

I don't think Allen's better than the other two options on the team, at least not now. He showed diddly-poo in preseason.

***** about Taylor all you want, but it was Jackson's end game play calling, and a blocked FGA, that prevented Taylor from guiding the Browns to their first win in over a year. And, on the other side, a future first ballot HOFer was tossing out picks like he was at a 1970's black power convention.

And Mayfield's on the bench where he belongs.

As good as the throw and catch to Gordon was to tie it up @21 the deep
Underthrow to Gordon at the pitt 40 when all they needed was 5-10 was awful.

Rodgers might be the more accomplished QB, but hard to deny Trubsky’s talent.

No, Tyrod had no sense of situational football on the last drive in the 4th with that deep pick. He was all over the place today.

Would be nice to see the double discount dork lose. I don’t wanna hear how he doesn’t have a team around him. He just signed a massive contract.

Yawn, with the weather-game nonsense. Dude played in blizzards in Buffalo. Roethlisberger throwing 5 picks isn't unprecedented. Didn't he do that just last year? In a non-weather game?

Steelers went in thinking they'd just get off the bus and roll Cleveland, despite being taken to the limit twice against them a year ago. That's what I chalk their performance up to. Taylor needs to do better than 15/40. I don't care if it's raining.

Your posting is as ridiculous as what Triumph is putting out tonight. Be better than that.

Of course weather impacts games. That's not even debatable. The data is irrefutable.

Taylor is garbage and we should know that already from seeing him. I expect mayfield to start by game 6.

Ben only threw 3 picks
