2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

And McAvoy is back

Amonte just said Dougie will be the softest Dman we'll face and they'll have a field day with him.

they really turned it around in the third period. they need to keep cashing in on the PP. carolina is so dirty. they should have a lot of opportunities.

yeah, the only thing keeping it close at the start was the refs

this game happened without us having our #1 Dman....

im holding to my buins in 5 prediction, canes seem overmatched mostly
they didnt look over matched in the second period.

They only had 10 minutes in penalties tonight, should have had 60. That was flat out unreal

To be fair, high hockey IQ and Carolina fans is pretty rare.

They're whining about the officiating? Shows just how little they know the game, their team got away with murder out there tonight. I'm usually among the bleep happens crowd when the officiating is poor but I couldn't believe what wasn't called in this one. There was a 'full on ref job' alright but it favored Carolina.

Question for you old timey Bruins fans...
When I was young, (70's) during a lull in the game, usually during the third period, a fan would let out this loud scream.
Happened almost every home game.
Anyone know who that fan was?
Couldn't find anything on Google.

-Captain gracious.

Bad officiating in both directions made the game weird, but Carolina had better learn the rules about when and how to hit, or they'll keep spending lots of time in the box.

And Rask let in a bad goal in a big spot (not the the defense didn't initially blow the play, because the shot never should have happened in the first place). I'm hoping that's his only one for the series.

My neighborhood buddies (I live in the suburbs of Raleigh) were whining in a group text during the game and started back up early this AM.

Then again these are the same guys who needed the "can't leave your feet doesn't mean a foot can't leave the ice" rule explained to them since the McAvoy hit last series.....

The officiating has been bad all playoffs, which it too bad, but the call on Dougie Charmin wasn't the only bad call (or non call) from last night.

If the Bruins lost, I would be saying the same thing. It just shows what a poor job the refs did, not only last night, but throughout the playoffs. Either let them play or call it tight, just be phucking consistent. I did get a chuckle out of the Canes fans saying that the announcers were ALL Bruins homers. That right there shows their ignorance. Even Milbury sounds like he has it in for the Bruins lately. I would say the announcers have been anything, BUT homers.

How these guys can go every other night this time of year is simply amazing. The B’s were on the receiving end of so many crushing hits I was wondering how the team would fill half its roster for game 2.

GDT: - Carolina @ Boston - Game 1

That is some world class whining, its almost if they were watching a different game.

they should stick to NASCAR

it was Ray Bourque. and they didn't show it or mention it. wtf.
Cause it's not Carolina. Now Hamilton the Pig, and the Canes' Block Party, those got big air time.
