2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

Should give Debrusks old man tickets to all the games, he always scores with his father in the building.

Weak goal there, in a tight game like this I like that we have Tuukka.

I wonder what it's like for the Tuukka haters to realize he is the best goaltender left standing lol

Not gonna lie. I was ragging on DeBrusk for being kinda quiet in this one not 5 minutes ago, lmao

Now up 2-0 and we are all over them.

Bobby Orr was the honorary flag captain today. they can't lose with orr in the house.

So how do the Bruins match up with the Sharks?

Sharks aren't an elite speed team as Pittsburgh showed in '16 (and Colorado showed last round). But guys like Meier and Karlsson have helped in that area. They are definitely faster than St. Louis, though. I haven't seen enough of the East to see how they measure up against Bos or Car.

Regards,
Chris
for what it's worth the Bruins beat the sharks twice in the regular season. if memory serves

how do the goalies on sharks/blues compare to tuuka? are they similar to the canes goalie?

having the best goalie of the teams left provides a BIG advantage to the Bs

On average, Tuukka is the best goalie left in the Playoffs.

If he continues the performances he’s put up the last four games plus a period of play, the gap isn’t close at all.

The series they are both in have a bit to go, in particular I wouldn't count St Louis out yet. But in answer to the question, the Sharks may be the only team still alive the B's are faster than.

Rask > Binnington or Jones

WOOOHOO!!!!

Jesus, Johanson is slick. Good lord 3-0

I like when they say great save when the goalie just got lucky the puck hit his stick, he never saw it.

Dominant hockey, wow. Pretty fun to watch.

an inch from 4 zip. I can't believe they didn't call a penalty when Marchand was clearly tripped.

Yes that should have been called but I have to give credit where it's due, so far the Canes have cleaned it up 100% from their game 1 antics. Still plenty of time for them to lose their composure though...

Starting to give more ground in the neutral zone than I'd like to see. Need to stay on em
