I like him where he is as a RB. He's been a binky of mine for a while. Clearly his hands a good enough to be a WR, but although its been a while, in preseason games, he showed he had more accelleration and running skills than White.Arizona State was converting Foster to slot WR during his senior season and had him rostered at WR. Even though the Pats have him rostered as an RB, it's never been clear to me whether he's really competing for a roster spot as an RB or WR.
It will be interesting to see how he's used in pre-season games.
But given the situation with BOTH Burkhead and Gillislee having receiving skills as well, AND Lewis and White ahead of him, I can't see a scenario where he makes the roster. I'm afraid he is going to be one of those guys who is going to wind up on another team's roster come September.....and good for him. Just no room at the inn.
