I'd include Tampa in that list too.I'd call Tenn, NO and Det for trade options.

we have a best linebacker? Now that HT is hurt?Pats Fans be all excited for what BB will get in a trade until we find out it's just a conditional mid-round pick for our best linebacker.
DeAndre Levy? Whatever happened to him?
Plus he still appears to have knee issues…and now that he's speaking out regarding CTE and how he was given Vicodin as if they were Skittles, I don't know if any team wants to touch him right now, if ever.Major concussion issues. Literally a poster boy for concussion issues right now.
He's not coming back to loseThe bears could be a trading partner. They have some depth at LB.
Its the last week before trade deadline. Pats usually make a move or two in both directions so it is reasonable to believe that they will at least be active on the market again. BB said himself yesterday that teams know Pats are always open for business.
Maybe instead of opening a new thread for every name someone wakes up with . we can have one thread that monitors and lists more realistic options. Instead of pure salivation and grass is greener “approach“ we should at least check the realm of availability and purchase (like taking a look at contracts, cap space etc.) and add at least some meat on the bone..
___
Let me start with the name that is circling around lately . has some rationale . and addresses a position still seen as a need (at least in depth) by most fans - pass rusher..
NFL.com:
He missed all last season with a torn ACL, but he's bounced back this autumn with a pair of QB takedowns already. A surprise inactive this past Sunday, Kikaha has the feel of a player being shopped. NESN's Doug Kyed picked out New England as a potential trade partner, which makes plenty of sense for a team in need of pass-rushing help. It wouldn't cost much to acquire Kikaha, and Bill Belichick is one of the NFL's most active wheelers and dealers.
More on his current status: New Orleans Saints: Hau'oli Kikaha
I would LOVE Ziggy (even though he’s making $12million this year )Lions’ slumping Ziggy Ansah: ‘I’m the same person’
Ziggy Ansah: I’m same guy I was in 2015
Detroit Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah: 'No excuses' for decline in play
Phil Perry mentioned Ansah as a possibility on the Quick Slants podcast.
Schefter thinks the pats will be aggressive at the trading deadline. Idk about that but i am assuming we will try to add another defensive piece. It doesn't have to be a big name.
Was way off yesterday.Schefter is usually pretty accurate
What did he say yesterday? Was way off yesterday.
