2016 COMBINED: Pats Roster Transactions

So much for yesterday's posts stating how rare it is for waived players to be claimed.
We've just lost 3 PS binkies.

While the likelihood of this occurring is statistically true, in the case of the Pats many of us were concerned just due to the depth that we were seeing on the roster.

Even given the possibility that we were over rating our players, this year felt different.

Plus there is the Patriots success mystique which exists, no matter how much the haters try to deny it, and teams may be more willing to take a chance on a player BB liked, even if he couldn't squeeze them.onto the Pats' roster.

As for Leblanc and the Bears, it shows the value of participating in joint practices

Do we need to start handing down draconic punishments for going off topic? We could even pretend nobody has ever done it before.

Again, It has NOTHING to do with actual PATRIOTS roster transactions. Clearly that's a concept you can't comprehend. If anything, it should have gone in the following thread:

Players released by other teams whom you'd like to see here

Maybe you should lay off the Crown and pay more attention.. Or is that beyond your abilities?

Get over it. Your crying about someone writing something on a thread. Then trying to insult someone about it. Seriously u got issues.

You clearly don't know what "crying" is. Clearly you have nothing to offer the board since you can't even be bothered to post your crap in the right thread.

Deep breath buddy its only a message board

Bishop sankey was signed to patriots ps. Are you going to complain someone already wrote this. Releaxxxxxxxxx

Looks like three transactions mentioned that the Patriots won't be able to make.

No. It looks like 3 transactions that have nothing to do with the Patriots Roster. Which is what this thread was about.

Anyone have any info on Devin Street?
BTW what's this "unknown 72?

Street was Pitt's all time receiving leader, is a big body, and looked very promising last summer in Dallas. Apparently, he had a setback with some back issues and did not look as good this summer. That said, many of the Cboys mediots still felt as though he should've made their team.

#72 is tackle Clay LeBoard, who the team looked at this week.

From Mike Reiss

Haven't read all 32 pages. Maybe it's been discussed.
But how do you feel if you are Tyler Gaffney?
On IR a third year in a row?
On one hand, making the NFL minimum three years in a row is not a bad living.
On the other hand, you spend three years rehabbing - for what?

The Pats are rumored to be looking for young WR talent.

A trade is a possibility too. What teams are WR heavy?

Not one feckin waiver claim? Seriously? When we have the all-time Belichick-era Worst talent ever seen
at OL & RB, and the thinnest, most fragile WRs?

What feckin lazy, incompetent arrogance.

Clearly You've forgotten about the 2000 OL and the 2005 RB corps..

Let me remind you:

2000 OL:
Adrian Klemm - IRed
Bruce Armstrong - Long in the tooth
Damien Woody - couldn't shotgun snap
Joe Andruzzi -
Adam Davis -
Salae Isaia
Greg Robinson-Randall
Max Lane
Josh Rawlings
Todd Rucci
Grey Reugamer
Lance Scott
Grant Williams

2005 RB Corps: (when Dillon and Faulk were injured)
Mike Cloud
"Famous" Amos Zeroue
Heath Evans
Patrick Pass

This group of RBs has questions, but it's certainly not the worst talent ever seen..

Wow.
Hope we have no new members who read this post because they probably will never be back.

I think that BB was trying to stick to the "code" where you don't grab other teams late round draft picks if they plan on putting them on their practice squad (in hopes that the league would give him the same consideration (they didn't). I remember a few years ago, he got really pissed at I think it was the Lions, for putting in a claim.
