I have always liked branch but he has been injury prone. Being a raiduh is a curse. I wonder who will be the next one to cash in and go to this hell hole.

I wonder what the market would be for Branch. Given the cap situation, and knowing BB isn't one to really care about injury-prone-ness, he might roll the dice on Branch for half the cost of McCourty and use the savings elsewhere.

If they successfully extend Revis, and Branch stays mostly healthy (with Harmon backing him up), and the Pats improve the D-line some, they may not be much worse off, for the price.
