The whole point of putting rookies in these scrimmages is so they'll experience real NFL action. They are going to fail, frequently. If that doesn't happen, then they aren't learning. Rookies have to have failure experiences to find out what they need to learn to be successful.

This was incorrect. I just saw the vid of it. Gonzalez was covering Doubs on the left side and Watson was lined up in the slot on the right. Gonzalez just broke off his assignment when he saw the ball going deep and tries to make a play

Gonzalez is #19 on the left (in between the Packers OL and Pats DL in the screenshot). Watson is #9 on the right. Not sure how whoever reported Gonzalez got beat on that is putting that on Gonzalez

You don't understand. They need to dominate everything, all the time, to satisfy the emotional needs of the fans. Trying things out, putting guys in difficult situations for the first time, working on timing that'll take some time to get right...none of that matters. We demand instant, constant dopamine.
