Would be nice to see Seymour get in. I remember during the whole fiasco where he didn't report, they were going to send letters, etc. and we eventually learned it was because he was "blindsided" and was trying to get his family in order first:

Seymour 'I was blindsided'

Definitely hoping he finally gets in.

I’m a fan of Vrabel, and I’ve forgiven Parcells and think he’s deserving although I understand while others don’t. That said, if the vote is for anyone but Seymour, it’s a travesty.

I guess were all just going to understate the importance the credibility Parcell brought to the Pat's.

Let alone the fact that he was responsible for a solid handful of the most important players of that first dynasty.

He belongs.

And he went and killed all of that with the way he exited for NY. I get it that time heals old wounds but that was a sh*tty way to end an otherwise great season.

He built a pretty good team over there too and if not for tom Brady who knows how the early 00s goes.

How embarrassing if Seymour ends up in the Pro Football HOF before ours.

I’m just looking at parcells 4 years here. Obviously he’s had a hall of game career building both NY teams and us. It would’ve been interesting to see how we would’ve fared in the Pete Carroll years if he hadn’t left for NYJ.

Parcells hands down.

None of this happens without Tuna. He brought BB to NE.

Hard no on Parcells. Did a great job building a foundation and turning the team around from a low point but ultimately he was a .500 coach who only lasted 4 years. The way he exited for a hated rival then took advantage of a loophole to steal Martin from the Pats soured him for me. If BB did not turn the team into a dynasty he would never even be considered but because BB did Parcells ended up getting extra credit well after the fact. Important part of team history but he is a Giants coach to me.

Every decision Parcells made from the moment he signed with us, including bolting, taking martin and trading us Belechick is the butterfly effect that led to the ensuing 20 year dynasty.

It's hard to hold a grudge against a man who if he had stayed would have no doubted resulted in us not having bill belechick and brady and while you cant give him credit for that you certainly can see how it doesnt happen had he not left.

Parcells intended to **** the pats and Kraft but in reality his decisions led to exactly the opposite of that.

Parcells NE record 32-32 regular season and 2-2 playoffs. Raymond Berry should get in by that standard and probably Fairbanks and Holovak for that matter.

Hard for me to give Parcells too much credit for the teams ultimate success as the team mirrored his 32-32 record the 4 years after his departure. If we exclude the 3 Carroll years it would probably be a viable argument but I do not see it that way. He helped turn around a team at their low point. Did a great job when he was here but just left too early and with no enough sustained success to be in the HOF from my perspective.

Fck Parcells. Vrabes should get in. Seymour was known as a dirty player. Vrabes was a 2 way player!

Voted for the tuna, but i don't think he will ever get in ... there is a lot of anger and hate directed at him to this day... after watching the two bills, a lot of my animosity towards Parcells faded though ... not worth the energy hating on a senior citizen these days

Seymour will get in this time ... Being in the running for the HoF has a way of putting a shine on a player... He was a great player... but he was always one of my least favorite Patriot players... don't know why, he just was...

Vrabes? worthy candidate ... but... meh, after last seasons take down i don't think i could seriously vote for him at this point... just being honest ... it rankles

It's Seymour IMO. 3 straight 1st Team All-Pros and 1st Team All-2000s to go with his 3 rings.
