Coward.

But you can prove me wrong - All you have to do is not reply - Think you can manage to let it go? Nah, neither do I.

Always the same with you. You start arguments, know you are wrong, twist your answers to avoid admitting it, and then when you can’t lie any more you lash out with personal attacks. You have no character, you would piss yourself if I was in front of you when you said that. You lose.

tired of him bullying, lying, demeaning others. He's been doing it for years on end, He does it all the time.

You do you Brother. Have fun storming the castle, so long as you realize nothing is going to change

Yeah Phifer isn’t getting in the Patriots HoF lol let’s be serious.

If by 'serious' you mean another 10 pages on a settled subject, I'll just be over here giving the dog a jowl rub

Its over. I am now the proud owner of an ignore list, as I put him on ignore. He adds nothing of value.

I urge him to put me on Ignore as well. Let it be completely over, but I don't think he will. He just cannot help himself.

Probably not because he came here at the tail end of his career but he was vital to those championships. As important as vrabel and bruschi.

That’s not really a criteria for Patriots HOF though

To me it should be. The history of the franchise is 6 rings and if you are going to have a HOF contributions to those rings should be among the top, if not THE top consideration.

I’d put him in before Bledsoe to be honest, because while Bledsoe as the QB was the best known most popular player, I’d value contributions to the success of the franchise more highly.
But that’s me, everyone has their own criteria. Bledsoe was always getting in just on popularity.

Nobody - and I do mean NOBODY - from this group should be allowed-in until One player enters first:

Julius.

The Jewel.

Adams.

Period.

long overdue. but the way the PHoF is currently run, its not going to happen.

the senior committee has not put him in because he does not fit the criteria of having been a previous finalist.

However, there was a six year gap of enshrinees between 2001 and 2007. This unfairly locked out a ton of old school patriots from being nominated by the senior committee. I would argue that the PHoF needs to change the senior committee qualification of having been a finalist, as that is a more recently adopted rule. There are a lot of guys who are deserving who get passed over because of this restriction - russ francis, jim colclough, larry eisenhauer, etc etc...

Just to point out irony your post was a response at someone who has spent well over 134 pages trying to convince Patriots fans Bill Belichick is not good.

The truth is BB was not a 'good' HC at all his last few years here and as a GM the game abandoned him even longer ago. That said, I don't believe anyone without an agenda would honestly argue Bill isn't one of the greatest coaches the game has ever seen. Even though I won a boatload on it (couldn't pass that spread up) I still find it hard to believe Belichick, Weiss and Romeo won SB 36 with that team and I'd put the coaching job they did that year up against any. If that was all Bill ever really accomplished it would still be enough to make him a legend.

Anyone disputing any of the above is simply tugging on Superman's cape

People are IMO confusing the importance of a play, in the overall scheme of a game, and the expected success rate, due to it being the last thing that happened.

For example, Vinatieri’s kick !!!!WON THE GAME!!! In SB 36 because if he shanked it we got to OT but Edelmans 9/109 and a TD in a 4 point game were just a contribution, despite being MVP. His miracle catch against Atlanta was nothing more difficult than kicking a FG with a 90% success rate.

We have people telling us in 2001 when we were 5-5 and then won the SB by never allowing more than 17 points again, Seymour, Law, Vrabrl, Phifer etc were not as valuable as the guy who made a FG. (And Vrabel made a hit that led to law getting a pick 6)

I get that this will be a debacle of a discussion because people love Vinatieti and can’t properly value a kicker vs a real player because if it. Ultimately that’s what fans do, they think with their heart.
I'll just leave at both should be in. Bob pinning guys against each other (especially in different eras) to be voted in is stupid.
