Kraft and Belichick are deserving too

Only kicker to make 2 SB game-winners at the gun.
Both snow kicks (including the 45 yarder which is the best kick in the history of the sport)
Ran down Herschel Walker on a kickoff return.

Decent resume.
Technically there was still like 9 seconds left after his second SB kick. You can see Brady is frustrated after calling the final timeout. He probably wanted to milk it more before the signal.

His snow kick to tie it was unbelievable.

20 year dynasty, will end up with 1 qb, 1 de, 1 te, 1 cb and a HC and eventually an owner in the HoF... 6 people...

the steelers wound up with 10 in the hof...

And even the SB36 winner vs the Lams should've had 3 seconds remaining, in time for the kickoff... Speaking of which:

If there indeed had been 3 seconds remaining, do you tell AV to try for the touch-back, the squib, or high but short...?

Yes, I can distinctly remember not celebrating yet, because there should have been time left on the clock!

Meanwhile others are whooping it up, but I thought for sure the refs would bring the teams back for a kickoff.

And given the Pats/Boston sports scene history, the Rams would either run it back for a TD, or get a free play on a penalty.
(1986 Red Sox, anybody?)

After that I was an absolute maniac, to the point where my kids went from celebrating with me, to looking at me with fear in their eye, to slowly moving behind mom to protect them from this insane madman jumping up and down endlessly, screaming at the top of his lungs.

Congrats Rodney, Adam, and Vince. That said I don't think any of them get in, at least not this year. Here is why:

Harrison - I think his dirty player rep will keep him out of the Hall.
Vinatieri - He will get in, but I don't see them ever making a kicker a first ballot HOFer.
Wilfork - I just don't think he has the numbers nor that people consider him elite enough for the Pro Football HOF. It is tough to get in as a DT to begin with because it isn't a stat position.
I feel like that mindset has changed a lot the last 20-25 years, with AV being a big reason why

I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to make a point of putting him in 1st ballot

there is a difference from who is deserving and who do I think will get in

I do think Adam V is deserving and will get in, although maybe/most not 1st ballot
he was a semi-finalist last year, so not a first ballot HoFer, if/when he does get in...

Gotta be the squib.

As for time remaining - yep. Didn't successful FG's used to have an automatic runoff a while ago? Maybe that's what happened here.

Hahaha wrong!

Same situation came up in SB38 they kicked deep to the 1 yard covered the kick return and won.

This wasn't a FG this was an XP lol. Yea he was a Colt but this was awesome. Bend it like Vinny!

Jills deserved to lose just for wearing those ugly red pajamas.

The Steelers have literal backups in the hall of fame.

The Bills, who mind you, never won ****, have 8 from the 90s teams.

He never should have been a semi-finalist.
You are absolutely right. Rivers was a high volume low efficiency player, whose teams outside of the late 00’s weren’t even able to sustain goodness for more than one year at a time.

I blame Borges.
