They sacrificed 'all credibility' when they allowed Ron Borges to keep his vote

Agree 100%, but I still think they know it would be a really bad look. However, when Jerry Thornton is taking shots at Belichick for how he treated people you know there is trouble. There was no bigger fanboy.

Except SBB of course

there is a difference from who is deserving and who do I think will get in

I do think Adam V is deserving and will get in, although maybe/most not 1st ballot
I do think Rodney is deserving, and will eventually get in, but he is not only over coming "dirty player" but also roids
I do not know if Vince is deserving or if he will ever get in

Ya I don’t think Tucker is getting in for that reason.

Adam absolutely should. He’s as synonymous with Dynasty 1.0 as Brady.
I sometimes wonder if Tucker’s own great career stunted the Vinatieri HOF narrative. Like, “is Vinatieri really the greatest kicker, when Tucker is right there?” Tucker was the NFL all-time FG % leader up until last year. Also had the NFL record for longest FG ever made. But then he had his worst season ever accuracy-wise and got outed as a sex pest, tarnishing his legacy and effectively taking him out of HOF consideration. I don’t know for certain if Tucker factored in to any voter reluctance to anointing Vinatieri, but it certainly shouldn’t any more if that was the case prior.

The last kicker to make the HOF was Morton Anderson which took him 10 years to do so after he retired in 2007. Adam holds numerus records along with his game winning kicks, so he's a shoe in - pun intended.

Wilfork probably won't make it as he doesn't have the pass rushing numbers. What a pick he was in 2004 though. I wasn't that exited as I wanted Steven Jackson. I would've liked for the Pats to have traded up and get him rather than Ben Watson. I hated that pick.

Rodney should absolutely get in. Like Bernard Pollard, the hit on Trent Green destroyed his reputation. However, unlike Pollard, Harrison was still respected as one of the best S's in the game.

Rodney and AV before Vince but all three are beyond worthy.

Hope they make sure Borges writes his own HOF case for Belichick and doesn't copy someone else's just changing the name.

There being 3 Patriots in the semis I feel like it's a lock that 1 will get in, and only 1.

AV is on the NFL 100 team so much like Hester I feel like you let the guy in. The special teams bias needs to go away. It did take Hester 3 times and this is AV's second. I expect he'll get passed over and make it next year.

VW is in his 5th year. It took Zach Thomas 13 years, Vince has 2 rings but Thomas leads in first team all pro selections 5-1. I think he could end up waiting several more years.

Rodney shoudl be in. If you stack up what he did vs Dawkins and Lynch his regular season numbers are better or equal in every regard except Dawkins with forced fumbles where he was a menace. But Rondey being the first 30/30 sacks and interceptions ever should have gotten him in alone especialy when Ray Lewis is the only other guy to do it since. Then you throw in the playoffs and it's not even close.

I think and hope Rodney gets in but it took Woodson and Atwater forever so we'll see. Being in the media might get him over the top.

If any kicker should get in it's AV. It's not the hall of strongest leg it's the hall of fame. AV is arguably the most famous and liked kicker in NFL history and for good reason.

Only kicker to make 2 SB game-winners at the gun.
Both snow kicks (including the 45 yarder which is the best kick in the history of the sport)
Ran down Herschel Walker on a kickoff return.

Decent resume.
