Laughable Brady-Rodgers comparison.

I'm not on the Rodgers train. I've seen him do some amazing things, but it is more physical talent than mental. He doesn't really read defenses at an elite level. He plays backyard football but with amazing accuracy. If Cam Newton had better accuracy, I would take him over Rodgers because imo he reads defenses better.

I don't understand the hate for Rodgers. You don't get a career 4:1 TD/INT ratio and an all-time great interception percentage without having an incredible knowledge of defenses.

He can't admit when he's beaten. It's not the New York Giants that beat them. They beat themselves. That's right those pesky Giants couldn't beat us. We beat ourselves!

That's the same pathetic attitude the Falcons and Seahawks fans have. How do you expect someone to like an arrogant jerk like that.

Learn to take a loss like a man. It doesn't mean you have to be a "good loser" but give credit where credit is due and accept that they beat you. We beat ourselves is just childish.

The guy is just a f*cking ****.

Oh yeah, and that reminds me, remember the highlights of the falcons laying the smackdown on Rodgers and co. He was like "man we need to get one of these" as in homefield advantage. Guess what jackass! You had one of those! Oh yeah it was the season where "we beat ourselves". Like you can't even make that **** up! What a loser!

Rodgers is a top 10 all time QB IMO or will be by the time he retires. Nothing wrong putting him in the Brady convo but he is not better. He has more physical talent. For people who don't understand quartbacking or football as much I can see why they would think Rodgers is better.
I don't agree. While I'll admit Rogers is a very good QB, he has mostly been a disappointment in the NFL. He is plagued by injuries, either to himself or his teammates, and he can't overcome them. He doesn't have the "it" quality that Brady has to overcome obstacles and carry the team forward. He makes excuses rather than adjustments. I don't think he's all that.

A disappointment? Come on....

Yes but why compare him to Brady if we talk about him in a top 10 context? Everyone will fall short. Let's compare him more to Young, Marino, and Peyton Manning, Elway, ect... That is who he is up against to make the top 10.

Most QBs will look like they are lacking when compared to the likes of Brady and Montana.

The interesting thing is Brady could easily have 6-9 rings by now.

It seems to me the following years

06' - If they get past Indy they easily beat Chicago
07' - Helmet catch
11' - Welker drop
15' - If they get past Denver they easily beat Carolina

were all potential championship teams where a few players here or there go differently and they win.

I've played that game and while true it's a game of greed.

Yes, Brady could have 6-9 rings but he was also close to having only 1 ring.

.

My guess is that the hate comes from the media.

I'm a huge fan of Brett Favre but I understand why people didn't like him. He was a Hall Of Fame caliber type player but the media would always gloss over any wrongdoing he did and overhype the good things he did. Fans see right through that and start to resent the player for that (even if it's not his fault).

I see the same thing with Rodgers. A great quarterback who often gets compared to Brady by the media. It's not his fault others are calling him the best and overhyping his play, but that's the reality.

So I like both Brett and Aaron (in fact, the Packers are my NFC team), but I understand why others (especially in this area) resent those guys.

You're kidding me, right? Some of the things written on here about Rodgers are just mind-blowing. Just because Rodgers likes to extend plays doesn't mean he doesn't know exactly when and where to place the ball.

Career INT%: Brady - 1.8%, Rodgers - 1.5%

And somehow Rodgers isn't as good at reading defenses. SMH.

A disappointment? Come on....

Yeah he's just freaking amazing. 3.5 seconds to throw the ball. That's some real pre-snap reading right theah ....yes sah...the "Great Aaron Rodgers".

First one and done 15-1 team in NFL history. 2011 NFC championship game. Don't worry "it wasn't his fault". I know because I asked the media.

Aaron Rodgers' playbook: (show me a highlight in which Rodgers isn't running around in the backfield waiting for someone to get open)

Scramble scramble throw complete. RELAX .....I'm a freaking hero.

Scramble scramble scramble throw incomplete. Yell at receiver.

Hold on to the ball .......still holding........sacked. Yell at offensive line.

Aaron Rodgers is a Sack-O-holic among the other sacks he may be.

Top Sacked seasons of all active QB's.

Top 20: Well at least he ain't Ryan Tannehill.

This is it. Case closed.

If Aaron Rodgers was all that why did they start Brett Favre instead?

Well well well why did the Pats start Jacoby Brisset???
