    Reactions to “The Dynasty”

Remind him of how Bledsoe almost gave the '01 AFCCG away in the second half including some mind-numbingly dumb throws.

    Reactions to “The Dynasty”

Well, Seau did refuse Rodney's pleas to switch out of the game-losing blitz.

    Reactions to “The Dynasty”

Don't push the Woodson hitting Brady in the head thing because people can then validly counter with Vrabel hitting Warner in the head even worse in SB36 on the Law pick-6 play.

    Reactions to “The Dynasty”

The scene in that when Kraft comes in to try to flex his "knowledge" by asking about the weather is hilarious. Belichick is clearly trying to blow him off and just keeps chewing his gum with the disdain just radiating off him.

    SB Memory Lane: 2003 Patriots

The '03 team was also peak opposition saltiness. NE would win (yet another -- remember, this season was the birth of the record winning streak) tight game and the losers would just whine and whine about how they were the better team.

PATRIOTS NEWS Mayo's Coaching Staff [Discuss Coaching Candidates Here!]

Because people are worried that Jonathan will be Jones-ish or Snyder-ish in terms of being a buttinsky to football operations.

OT: Which team do you want to win this season?

No PIT or SF either. Don't want them (respectively) surpassing or matching NE's SB trophy count.

OT: Which team do you want to win this season?

I want the Superbowl to be DET v. HOU with DET winning.

What if we *Don't* hire a GM?

He didn't need to agree to some buyout to be able to coach somewhere without giving up compensation. When the coach is fired the team relinquishes all rights to him by doing so. It's only when the coach quits that the team still holds rights for the remainder the time left on the contract.

Belichick wanted Jakobi. Was convinced out of it by the new guys picking players

I think Kraft's early ownership tenure makes "yes" a pretty clear answer to that question. And I suspect Jonathan even moreso.

    Patriots GM Search

What?? There is no way Belichick would or could have kept Bledsoe after 2001. It would have been a mistake of epic proportions, Bledsoe didn't want to stay, either. Trading was the only option.

Belichick wanted Jakobi. Was convinced out of it by the new guys picking players

Since it appears BB still had the final say on this horrible choice it's ultimately on him. HOWEVER, it also doesn't make me feel good about the future (or either Kraft's judgement) that they are leaving these people in place.

Personally, I like the one I saw saying JK is a cross between Sonny and Fredo.

    JC Jackson?

An agent probably isn't a HIPAA covered entity. (HIPAA only applies to specific entities). And even if he is, if Jackson gives permission to release the info there's no HIPAA issue.

NBC feature on Madden & Stingleys at halftime of 49s-Seahawks tonight

Give that the Patriots (thankfully unsuccessfully) tried to cancel Stingley’s health insurance I’m not remotely surprised. The Sullivans were cheap, garbage people.

PostGame Thread Official Post-Game Thread: Patriots Lose to Commanders 20-17

That's on JJSS. I will blame Mac for blowing that 4th down conversion earlier in the game when he was under no pressure, had Thornton at least 2-3 yards ahead of his man deep downfield and Mac just totally choked on the throw. He could have run for a first down too since a running lane opened...
