Now we are stretching it a bit here... The pats were the beat of afc . They beat everyone of note either in regular or post season. If you want to talk about the bills win against pats in regular season just man up on the number of free calls you got to continue your drive , which might have caused a different result and helped pats clinch the seed 1.

I agree we had luck , but so did the bills . It's not as if you faced a gauntlet of marauding teams . Maybe 1 or 2 more better teams but you lost to inferior teams like fins and falcons. Winning consistently in NFL is difficult and it requires a lot of things to go right and I am sure when bills were winning that's the case and so was it for Bengals . Pats were a bit more fortuitous than others but doesn't mean others in afc were significantly better. Every body stunk and pats were the better amongst those.

Could we have played better in the super bowl. Probably. Sometimes **** happens
Broncos got mauled by Seahawks and then 2 years later won the big prize again.

The pats have questions and so do bills too. What about your coaching changes. Do you folks feel confident that you will continue to rule when pats are one year more experienced with their rookie crew and have close to 80 million$ available for free agency.

Seahawks were better than us , but as far as AFC goes, This year pats were the best in it and were well deserved finalists.

Fair enough, that demonstrates you're a fan of the game and can see pretty clearly. None of those are terribly insightful, more or less parroting national media outside of NE.
You're a fan of an opposing team and most of what you post just antagonizes people, so why do you do it? I could sign up for a Bills forum and talk about 13 seconds, wide right, lost helmet, the drought, Music City miracle, Boy I Love Losing Superbowls, Mahomes owns the Bills in the playoffs, etc.
That's what a troll does.... If I did join a Bills forum it would be to support the good people of Buffalo, long suffering fans and the home of my alma mater (UB). I've deployed overseas multiple times with Bills fans, always had a good time talking football, watching games, ribbing, etc. That isn't what you're doing, guessing you have a complex or some sort of issues to be doing what you're doing.
If Buffalo wins a SB I'll feel good for my friends there, but what would you do, come here and post about it?

Your argument hinges on the idea that "the refs specifically hated the Bills and made them lose vs the Broncos" which is just a nonsense argument, because if you really believe it, then what makes you think the refs wouldn't have also forced a loss on them in the AFCCG or the Super Bowl too? Why do you ignore Josh Allen's millions of turnovers that were the much larger factor in the loss? Why do you ignore the refs keeping the flag in their pocket on the massive hold in the end zone that should have been a safety and would have ended the game long before the Cooks non-catch? It just sounds deranged.

Not even remotely close.

They might have been 4th or 5th best of the AFC. They are not in the top 3.

They played one of the easiest schedules in NFL history and then played back to back teams in the playoffs that had backup quality QB play.

They were lucky. I’ll give them that.

Well, that's a travesty ... Buffalo has no rights to claim top 3 when you lost more games. It's not perception but what you do on field and you folks did not do it.

Please be an objective fan and don't be causing an embarrassment to your fan base. You guyz lost when it mattered and that means you are not top 3 and we won when it mattered. Talking about hypothesis serves no use.

If it's based on hypothesis we can say few plays here and there and we could have won the super bowl. But I will not go there and be a gracious sport and grant my victors the spoils unlike you who harps on imaginations despite losses.

Looking at regular season wins as some measure of what team is better without taking context into consideration is a fools errand.

You have to look at schedule, injuries, who each is playing, extenuating circumstances, etc.

For example: If one team is playing an opponent that loses their starting QB, so they get to play their shell of a backup instead that’s not the same quality win as another team who beat Matthew Stafford or Pat Mahomes.

This is undeniable: The Patriots had one of the easiest schedules in the HISTORY of the NFL. Of course you’re going to win more games with that. Then you got to play a backup QB instead the AFCCG, not to mention the shell of CJ Stroud.

Buffalo, Jax and Denver each would have tapdanced into the Super Bowl with the schedule NE got. And put up a better fight in said SB as well.

If you think bo nix is the difference and that's why you lost while we won then you have no rights to be top 3 if your team can be bested by Bo nix.

I think the weather made QB play moot . So it's not fair too on Maye . So we might have edged out nix too in that weather . It was defensive game.

I wil call it fair but you are too blinded by your love for your team that you fail to realize your failings. You are not above us right now . You are beneath us and with your cap ramifications and coaching changes you might stink further up .

I will agree that we got outclassed in superbowl but that has nothing to do with AFC. The conference as a whole benefitted from weak schedule and sub par QB play and bills also had that benefit you did not take advantage of it z while we did. You were not playing against Peytonanning or wlway . It was bo nix and you guys choked.

Losing head-to-head at home to New England put Buffalo behind in the standings, and it's also the reason why McDermott got fired. I think his being let go had more to do with the fact that the Bills lost the Division to the Patriots, primarily because, had that not happened, they would never have been in Denver to begin with.

It is what it is. But while I can appreciate your need to come in here and gloat a little bit, next year and the coming years are going to be tough. It's going to see the Bills end up in a situation where, unless they can retake the lead in the Division, they're going to have to go on the road earlier than some of the other teams and they've yet to prove they can win three straight in the playoffs to even reach the Super Bowl.

Of all the times for the Patriots to finally figure things out, it's certainly not helping whatever window Allen has left, which, with the injuries and the way he's played, looks like it might be closing sooner rather than later.

I do think Buffalo is a top 3 AFC team atm with us and Denver.
Pats did made up a ton of ground on the Bills in one offseason. What should concern Buffalo is the two teams cap situations and the pats ability to really add some fire power to their offense to go with their already superior defense.

Im not a homer at all. Im getting cussed at left and right on the Bills forum because I didn’t like the Brady hire. I don’t know how we ended up on him. Actually, I do… Allen I think wanted him.

Not sure what you mean by the least sentence - Allen had 1 bad game. And even with that bad game, it was light years better than Maye’s postseason performance.

There is no doubt in my mind that Buffalo is playing in the Super Bowl last night if they had the road that NE had.

The guy is hurt every year, and he had more than one performance where he came up short multiple times during the season, especially down the stretch. That’s how they lost the Division to begin with and ended up on the road in Denver, rather than playing someone else at home in that round.

It’ll be forever hilarious to me that the Usual Suspects of the AFC had to watch Drake Maye leapfrog over them to make the Super Bowl first. Especially if they never get their act together and make it themselves at some point. And Buffalo is the hardest to make the case for ever getting it together even as Josh Allen has been the best playoff performing QB of the Usual Suspects.
