The question is will Maye have the time to make those throws?
Campbell has had some excellent experience this post season going up against Khalil Mack, Will Anderson and now Nik Bonnito.. all while coming off the MCL.. this will make him a better player going forward...

This feels like a game where Drake gets it out quickly and probably uses the Hurry up offense.. ?

This. If he gives up 3 quick dangerous pressures in the first quarter you either have to help him, or try Lowe. Feelings be damned this is the AFCCG.
The play should be to employ the 6th OL if that happens.. Campbell is going to give up pressures.. we just hope he can hold up enough for Drake to complete passes.. UGA I can't say this enough.. attack Riley moss downfield all game long...

I think they go quick game. Use Hunter Henry, Stevenson and Diggs to minimize the rush.

Won a little at the Atlantis yesterday as a final gambling trip before I move out of the US for a while.

Decided to take $80 of it and put it on a parlay for the Pats -3.5 and the Over. In the heat of the moment I completely lost faith and only bet the line.

PS - I lost faith that the Broncos could score enough against our defense for us to hit the over. Our Defense is that good in the postseason so far. Love that I'm actually excited to see them take the field today.

Pats use the team dentist who starts out with questions, "Is it safe?"
Ive asked every dentist that question upon meeting them, all except the most recent (whos in her later thirtie)s has said... Yes its Safe. Its almost like that movie is required viewing in dental school

20th In running the ball... Isn't an elite offensive line supposed to be top 5 in running the ball?...
An OLine with guys like Bradbury. Quick but not that strong. Good at pass blocking but can not move guys like Williams, Barmore, and Durden.

Agreed Diggs is masterful underneath... he likely draws Surtain.. that leaves Hollins, Boutte open.. Henderson I'm expecting something big from him today.. we need to use Denver aggressiveness against them and attack the Safety Hufanga in coverage

Depending on how healthy he is, this could be a big Hollins game.

I have never seen an easier path to the Super Bowl in my life.

Bills would have made the SB the past 5 years in a row with the easy as cake path the Pats have had.

You will win today.

The AFC is a weird place right now with a lot of the big teams from the last several years in flux. I have no idea what it looks like next year.

Absolutely agree. The combination of Williams, Barmore, Durden, Tonga is a load for and OL to handle.. if you noticed with the defensive like back a full strength it's allowed for the front to wreak havoc and having the rotation as well so guys are fresher.. this will be vital today in Mile high.

He practiced all week so that is a positive sign.. the IR designation was likely to allow him the time his body needed.. guys a big part of the offense.

And now for the rest of the story... Paul Harvey

2019 Teddy Bridgewater who is about as much as a back up as I am only the opposite, he was good.
2020 Taysom Hill - Ok, let's take that comparison.

Below are the teams they beat and lost to and their final records at the end of each line. Yea, this Tweet added absolutely nothing to the conversation. Bridgewater beat one team in the realm of the Pats and they went 7-1 against basically the following years top ten draft pickers.

2019: Teddy Bridgewater (5–0)
Following a thumb injury to Drew Brees in Week 2, Teddy Bridgewater started five games and won all of them:
  • Week 3: at Seattle Seahawks (W, 33–27) 11-5
  • Week 4: vs. Dallas Cowboys (W, 12–10) 8-8
  • Week 5: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (W, 31–24) 7-9
  • Week 6: at Jacksonville Jaguars (W, 13–6)6-10
  • Week 7: at Chicago Bears (W, 36–25) 8-8
2020: Taysom Hill (3–1)
When Drew Brees suffered rib injuries in 2020, Taysom Hill was named the starter over Jameis Winston for four games, going 3–1:
  • Week 11: vs. Atlanta Falcons (W, 24–9) 4-12
  • Week 12: at Denver Broncos (W, 31–3) 5-11
  • Week 13: at Atlanta Falcons (W, 21–16)4-12
  • Week 14: at Philadelphia Eagles (L, 21–24)4-11

You'll notice that they ignore the 2021 season. That's the year that Hill went 4-1, but Ian Book and Trevor Siemian went 0-5...

Your QB is the only QB in the NFL i fear.. I actually felt bad for Allen because he had a weirdo coach who's got no personality and uses 9/11 Hijacking references to motivate his team..

So you're right.. we had an easy 19 years of dominance in the league.. geesh can't believe we got so lucky each year from 2001- 2019..

And yet...

Dont care about stats.
Dont care about altitude.
Dont care about Sean Payton. (He cant help them once they on the field)

Whats going to be Stidhams plan?

The ROAD WARRIORS are coming to town!!!!

Road Warriors. Wow what a reference.

I expect this to be a tough road game. Our toughest yet. But we have a mentally tough team. This Patriots team inspires confidence.

I'm still feeling a bit nervous but I feel we can eke out a tight win here.

Our defense needs to continue to dominate. Stidham might be easier to contain than Bo Nix, sure. But we can't afford to underestimate him.

Today I want to see us win the turnover battle. Drake Maye needs to take care of that football a lot better than last week.

Our OL also has a major challenge to protect him. This game could easily come down to the battle in the trenches.

It's time to man up. Let's get this win and punch our ticket to the Superbowl. Go Patriots!
