This is why protecting the ball is key on Sunday. Most people thought an ass kicking was going to occur against Manning in 2001, but the defense created many turnovers and made it easy for Brady. Pats can't do that for Stidham on Sunday. They need to make him think and put the pressure on him.
Real challenge with one the most intimidating places to play and having to go silent count etc.

Although I'm getting really tired of playing the same teams in the Super Bowl, I'll take the Rams if the Pats can win on Sunday. Going against McVay/Stafford against the other favorite for MVP in Maye and possibly HC of the year in Vrabel would good for the NFL.
Completely agree but would add it would bring us full circle to 2001.

Are you trying to offend @Patjew ?
Nah. PJ is one of my all-time favorite posters here.
Besides, those mohels are professionals.
Unlike the poster who was thinking of cutting his Johnson

I don't know how often Maye has gone to silent count, but I am sure they practiced it this week. Seattle & KC might be the only louder stadiums. McDaniels coached (Home & away) there so he my be able to give pointers.

The Patriots struggled in the 2015 AFC title game with crowd noise. And that was with prime Brady, Gronk, & Edelman. There were five sacks and like four false start penalties. The OL coach got fired a day later. Granted, this Broncos defense is nowhere 2015 level. And the Patriots are not as beat up.

And YOU support a guy who lies to us on a daily basis. Who tramples on the constitution on a daily basis. Who STEALS from us on a daily basis and added billions to his own personal wealth. Who effectively ended the federal system of government that has served us for 250 years. Who actively and openly trying to rig the midterm elections. (I have to give him one thing, T, he is certainly transparent. He isn't hiding any of this). He is running this country like organized crime. Where anyone who goes against them is subject to retribution and intimidation.

He has created a masked private army loyal to him and NOT Constitution that is being used as the fist of his VERY selective immigration enforcement arm. (and BTW, I'm all for deporting illegal immigrants AFTER due process. I'm all for actively going after criminal elements who are here illegally, just like we did when the Irish, Italian, and other ethnic groups ran the mobs. It's called LAW enforcement and you don't fire or drive away a large body of the Justice department and expect to make a dent in that element. However. if your goal is have a scapegoat to deflect attention whenever people start to question things like health care, cost of living, civil rights, or the Epstein Files; it works just fine.

BTW- T, I never thought Trump has anything to do with the sordid aspects of Epstein's life. UNTIL he started acting like he had something to hide. Christ, he's overthrown a foreign government, threatened to take over foreign jurisdictions and had done his best to act as an agent of the Russian Government and destroy NATO and disembowel Ukraine. Putin has no one on his staff who is working harder to implement his European foreign policy than Donald Trump.

And not for nothing, Tariffs are NOT paid by the governments from the countries they are levied on. They are ultimately paid by the consumers of the products being tariffed. So not only meats and cars are more expensive. My Little Debbies Donut Sticks have gone up by a 33%. Probably more to do with cost of sugar, since that's what they are 99% made of, but boy are they good.)

And for the record, I never thought Kamala was the brightest bulb in the lamp, but given the blithering idiot who was the alternative, I didn't have much of a choice. And for the record again, after you have read this rant, T, feel free to have the moderator delete it. I mostly just need to just get it down on paper so I don't blow my head off, listening to the news each day, About once every couple of weeks works just fine, and of course the Pats have helped a LOT. Feel free to PM me if you want to actually have a real dialogue on the actual issues, they are not all black and white.
Youre unburdened by what has been.

Stiddy is not going to be Nix.

He cant do what Nix does.

Here are Stidham's four career starts...

2022 season for the Raiders
Wk 17 vs San Francisco - Lost 34-37 in OT - 23 of 34 for 365 yards with 3 TD's and 2 Int's - Passer Rating of 108.1
Wk 18 vs Kansas City - Lost 13-31 - 22 of 36 for 219 yards with 1 TD and 1 Int - Passer Rating of 76.0

2023 season for Broncos
Wk 17 vs LA Chargers - Win 16-9 - 20 of 32 for 224 yards with 1 TD and 0 Ints - Passer Rating of 93.7
Wk 18 vs LV Raiders - Lost 14-27 - 20 of 34 for 272 yards with 1 TD and 1 Int - Passer Rating of 82.0
Can anyone else in the class guess the trend they see here in these games?

Pats probably bring 4 RBS - Hendo, Rahm, Jennings, Johnson.

Denver would gameplan to go after whoever Davis's replacement is. I don't know who that is. If he is still in concussion protocol today, It's doubtful he plays in three days.

I wonder how many of those other guys will play.

If the offense doesnt lay an egg which they havent done all season(which in itself is worrisome in a law of averages way:, we should do okay. Nothing is more important than ball security. If maye puts the ball on the ground, he wont be so lucky to recover like he has in the last two games.
Tbf , broncos have the least fumble recovery ...

Past Patriots playoff games in Denver =
Getting hosed (Jeff Triplett etc.) by the game officials
